I purchased this to use in the Anova Precision Oven and it works great. I use the bake setting to heat the stone, then switch to steam/convection.

It said to not put oil on the stone but I did a quick spray and put flour too. Pizza sticks to it like mortar on bricks. Soaking overnight in water does the trick and lifts the crust off easily enough but I screwed up not following directions. My fault. But the pizza crust tastes GOOOOOOD!

Use this stone in our camper oven and it helps to keep everything heated evenly.

WOW! I found a new favorite brand of grilling gear! I am not easy to please, but this stone hit the spot in multiple ways. It is thoughtful all the way around, down to the tiniest details. The name alone is super fun, the logo is awesome, the way it came packaged was superb. It is HEAVY! And the box it came in and the protection around it showed that they care for their product and keeping it safe. The stone is a rectangle rather than the regular looking circular pizza stones which I love! This makes the most out of your space. Thing is, you can use a stone for more than pizza, so this works beautifully for me. I am all about it, it is made to last. I just need to remember to care for it meticulously. Because it is a stone, you can't just stick it in the dishwasher. You need to let it cool, scrape off food bits, then run it under hot water in your sink. No soap, which I am not a fan of skipping, but that is how to care for it. That would be the case for any stone though, because then the soapiness could stick to it and rub off on your next dish. I truly recommend it!

This is a great pizza stone for making pizza on your grill. Not all that great in the oven so I don’t recommend. It can be a little tricky to handle when you have oven mitts on, so be careful. I would also recommend spraying with non-stick spray because pizza crust will stick and it’s tough to clean off. I haven’t tried fish yet, but I think it would be great for salmon.

I always wanted to try a pizza stone since I have heard it makes the crust really crispy. It's true! I made a rustic pizza using Mr. Boyardee's pizza kit. Rustic meaning I just stretched it out into a somewhat rectangle shape with varying degrees of thickness. I had preheated the stone in the oven at 450° for about an hour, I had cleaned the stone with some mild detergent and water the day before to get off any manufacturing residue. I had dressed my dough with some cooked beef and onions on one side and onions on the other with some cheese and about half the pizza sauce that came with the kit. I cooked my pizza according to the box directions, 24 total minutes and let it rest in the oven for about 15 minutes before I got it out and cut into it. That crust was really crispy crunchy, it was so good. The thicker parts were nice and soft inside. It was overall delicious, better than takeout. My mom, the world's super critic, even liked it. It wasn't hard to clean off the stone. I wiped the debris off and had a little stiff brush that got off the rest of the burnt on stuff, you could probably use the self cleaning mode in the oven to burn it off. I can't wait to try this on my pellet grill for wood smoked pizza.

This is my first experience with a pizza stone and it does indeed help a lot with creating a crispy crust on pizzas. I don't know if it is because it sucks the moisture out of the dough or if it's just because the stone can preheat to a much hotter temperature than a conventional pan. I also tried this with homemade bread and it worked well for that, too. Even when I added steam to the oven to make the bread's crust chewier, it worked well. The stone is on the smaller side so I made a rectangular pizza that was slightly smaller than the stone to maximize available space. This was easy to clean, but it does take on stains over time (much like a clay pot). It's easy to store and the size makes it easier to handle when cleaning.
