The press is very well designed, and is built very sturdy. Setting it up is very easy, and the press plates can be uninstalled and cleaned in a snap. The screen is bright and the press gets to temperature in little time. Overall a recommended Panini press for quality cooking!

We use this press mainly as a toaster and it does a good job. You can toast a greater variety of breads, such as bagels, than you can in a regular toaster with slots. Moreover the toast comes out with some nice grill marks, which is kind of classy. It's also good for sandwiches such as grilled cheese, and of course you can grill things as well. After dinner all it needs is a quick cleanup since it't truly nonstick.

I’m a big lover of paninis and had a gift card so I decided to take the plunge and buy this. The $50 price tag was a little steep but if it was a great product I figured it would be worth it. Part of the draw with this model was the fact that it could open 180° to become a grill of sorts.The first sandwich we made was ice cold on the inside and black on the outside. And it had cooked for maybe 3 minutes total. We decided that we’d put too much meat in the sandwich and tried again with a thinner sandwich. Same result. Chargrilled black and burnt on the outside and cold inside. I also tried oil vs. butter, and it was the same result. The only success I had with both the insides melting and the outsides not burnt was with ONE single piece of cheese.The grill part of it is a total joke as well. It does get hot but not enough to cook anything to temperature. The photos advertise 2†thick burgers and chicken breasts being cooked on grill. You would get food poisoning! Again, it was black on the outside and raw on the inside. We had to take the chicken off the grill and cook it in a pan.I will give it props for being super easy to clean. Literally just a damp paper towel would get off even the crustiest cheese bits. The inability to control the temperature is what ruined it for me.

The Chefman Panini Press Grill has been a fun addition to my kitchen. It’s easy to use and makes sandwiches that are perfectly crispy on the outside and warm on the inside, as long as you keep an eye on them. I also love how it opens 180 degrees to double as a grill for things like veggies or smaller cuts of meat. It's compact, doesn’t take up much counter space, and is super easy to clean – the removable drip tray is a lifesaver.However, the lack of a heat adjustment is a drawback. The temperature runs quite high, so you need to monitor your food closely to avoid burning. A simple "low/high" heat setting would’ve made this product perfect. Also, the size is a bit smaller than expected – it works well for one or two people but isn’t ideal for larger servings.

I'm enjoying this! Perfect for making sandwiches and quesadillas. I don't have time for breakfast but this buys me some time. There's no on or off button though, you have to unplug (that's the only thing I don't like).

It works great for pressing sandwiches, cooking bacon. Cleaning was a breeze. I use Pam cooking spray. When it's cooled down wipe using a paper towel. It heats up quickly, it's lightweight and doesn't take up much space.

Just got this yesterday and tried it for the first time same day. So far feeling super excited about this being a staple for a fast dinner or lunch option instead of making a boring sandwich. Will update if anything happens but seems amazing quality compared to our last toasted bread maker which was plastic and broke after a month.

So, we really enjoy the panini press as a whole, but if I had to choose again I would not pick this panini press for a few reasons: Impossible to clean - just the shape of it plus how hot it gets.. it takes so, so long and it's kind of gross. Second, the only way to turn it off is to unplug it which is just not very safe especially if you live in a house that 20 or more years old.However, this panini maker does make crispy paninis and paninis are delicious so.

Gifted this to my s/o who is a foodie, and he is in love with his panini press for making his “Sangwhichesâ€, made impressive tortillas to change up our taco Tuesday night with our margaritas and it was delicious. Great heat up, ease of use and effortless to clean. Four thumbs up from him & I! :)

Realmente su calentamiento es muy parejo en toda la superficie, fácil de lavar. Solo al principio después de leer el extenso instructivo, que no le entendà con tantas instrucciones y advertencias, no podÃa hacer que encendiera, pues el botón "enter" es la unica perilla que se utiliza para todo, que hay que presionar para establecer la función deseada pero en ninguna parte indica eso. La empujas y es "enter" Gracias

So I got this because I had the George Forman grill and loved it â¤ï¸. I hardly used it tho because it was so small and could not fit 2 sandwiches 🥪 it was purple 💜 then stolen from me from a goon I use to know . Now I got this one and let me tell you that this one is better. If you take a look at the sandwich 🥪 you will see it's like an 8 inch bread ðŸž. I made 2 in this grill . I made 1 for diner and 1 for lunch 😋 tomorrow. They were ready within minutes . For real I swear it took me longer to prepare the sandwich 🥪 then to cook it in here. The grill line pattern looks so amazing and like a pro made it. I absolutely love this grill . I would so recommend 👌 to everyone . I promise you will be so shocked at this result of speed and space area. It also opens up to a full flat so you have 2 flat grill spaces to cook like 8 burgers 🔠😋. I'm not kidding it's unbelievable. The cleanup as well if you see my picture thats melted cheese and i literally took a damp cloth and wiped the grill. I swiped the cloth on each grill line 1 by 1 without zero scrubbing or force .
