It's awkward being in public eating a snack of cherries and wondering what to do with the pits or spit them out without drawing much attention. With this tool you don't need to worry again. You can de-pit prior to packing and eat like grapes. This pitting tool is fairly quick and easy to use with just popping in the cherry and quickly pushing down, mostly one handed. The one noteworthy thing is that cherries will brown, like apples. This doesn't affect their flavor, just looks a little less appetizing.

This is the first year my tree had this many cherries. The cherry pitter worked great and I have RA in my hands. It’s a great buy at a great price.

Easy to use and the gadget you didn't know you needed until now! Worked every single time I used it. Sturdy and good quality. Easily and quickly removes pit with one simple motion.

This pitter works well. We had a similar one that came badly aligned and barely worked: this product is well aligned. There are two possible ways to hold this and pit a cherry: 1. squeeze the two handles, 2. press on the tongue-shaped piece. That’s good if your hands get sore. However, Hands will get sore if you do a lot of cherries. But we rarely do much more than one pint at our house. We have another cherry pitter, that we generally prefer: this reviewed product does a better job on extra large cherries. Most of this is plastic, but the pitter stem is metal and the basket for the cherry is lined with silicone.I'm not a big fan of red kitchen gadgets. Not that many of us have kitchens that coordinate color-wise with red. But this will be in a drawer, so I don’t care.

Thanks to this handy gadget, I will eat lots more cherries! The silicone part holds the cherry well so it doesn't slip around. Be prepared, because it will spray cherry juice everywhere. A couple times, the pit got stuck when I pitted some extra large cherries, but it came out easily with a tap on the counter. I would prefer that it were made of a heavier/sturdier material instead of plastic. However, it doesn't take a lot of force to use, so it should last just fine.

This Locisne Cherry/Olive Pitter works wonders! Cherries are my favorite fruit and this makes it easier to pop them in my mouth and not worry about choking on a pit. It’s very easy to handle. Great tool!

Kiddos love fresh cherries but I hated having to cut them open with a knife to pit them - now the older kiddos can help with this little pitter. It was hilarious watching my 6 year old try to use it and then she threw the pit across the kitchen - easy to use, easy to clean - has been a great addition to our kitchen (:

This cherry pitter is easy to hold, easy to use, and pits cherries perfectly without mangling them. I used it for 2# of cherries, and it kept the cherries whole with a pit-sized hole in the center. Perfect!
