Just got it delivered and tried it on three jujubes (dried red dates). Got the pit out on each one. Of course one needs to have some hand strength to do it, but that is to be expected. I placed each jujube head down to push the pit from the stem end. Worked and happy with the product.

I bought this to pit dates. It will pit dates most of the time, but the punch can slip off to the side of the pit causing it to miss ejecting the pit. I'm guessing that the design is more efficient when working with cherries, but haven't actually tested that idea.

The dried jujubes without a core are usually too dry and taste no good. I need to remove the cores from the dry jujube myself to make jujube tea in a soymilk maker. I searched Taobao and Amazon and found several corer designs, and I decided to try this one. It works and is easier and quicker than cutting the core out with a knife. I have to manually center the jujube on both ends, the pusher and the hole, for it to work. But with some practice, it can be done.
