For starters, the people whose cables are untwisting from their needles did not tighten the joints with the t-pins included in the set. You have to tighten the joints! Once you can no longer unscrew them with your fingers, you’re good to go.Okay now onto my review:I was really hesitant to spend this much on knitting needles. It’s a hobby I’ve recently picked up after crocheting for a while and doing some machine knitting. But it’s worth it.Pros:- Versatile, interchangeable needles just are- Almost any size you may need for various projects- The joints are tight and smooth so once they’re tightened, nothing snags on them and they don’t come undone- These are really good quality- The cables aren’t too stiff, making the magic loop method much easier- Lightweight and travel friendly- Organized wellCons:- Price- There are no adapters for the large and small cables included (this is just to use large and small cables together, they’re not essential)- I wish there was a 3 mm needle and a 2.5 mm but I knew that beforehand so I don’t really know if it belongs in this sectionAll in all, these are a great kit for someone who wants a variety of good quality needles! I recommend this, as long as you know to tighten your joints :)

I love these needles! They are super fast and the flexible cord adds comfort to your project while stitching. The joins are very smooth, no snagging and I have never had the needles come loose from the join. My addi’s have that issue. I actually prefer these to my Addi Turbo’s. Love, Love. They are worth every penny. My wish is that the company will also someday make a very slick wooden needle, basically because of the cord. Would be nice to add to my Lykke sets of wooden needles. If you aren’t sure because they may be cost prohibitive, purchase one circular in a size you use most often, perhaps a 4 or 5 with a 16†cord and try it. I have had mine for a few years and have zero complaints.

I have been a crocheter for many years. I have always wanted to try knitting but always found it to be awkward until I learned continental knitting. It is similar to crochet but with two needles. I found that straight needles, especially if they are long still feel awkward to me. I purchased an inexpensive pair of circular needles and fell in love with using the circular needles. However, I wasn't in love with the pair that I purchased. I started to do some research and I decided to invest in a pair of ChiaoGoo needles. I was hooked so to speak. I like the convenience of having all the size needles so that I am ready for any project. The case is pretty and well-made. The cord is the best part because it does not twist. The needles are very smooth and feel good in my hand. I have read other reviews where the cord may come loose from the needle. It is very important that you use the tool that is included in the kit to tighten the screw as tight as you can. If you lose the tool, a paper clip will work just as well. Happy Knitting.

Metal needles from size 2 to 15, with stitch markers, end stops, and multisize cables. It is convenient to have all sizes together. Chiaogoo is a top-quality needle. Great Value. I am glad I finally made this investment.

I used to knit when I was in my teens and twenties, gave it a break for about 40 years, then dove right back in the past year. Things have changed. Thank goodness. I used to use the 14" aluminum straight needles and the twisty aggravating old style circular needles. After diligent research I first bought the entire set of Chiagoo 10" straight needles for smaller projects and I LOVE them. Then I bit the bullet and bought this 5" complete interchangeable circular needle red lace cable set. INCREDIBLE. I started a hat on the 14" straight needles and discovered that age and arthritis meant that the needles were too long, too heavy and made my fingers hurt. So I switched to the interchangeable needles with the middle size red lace cable and OMG I knit faster, more accurately on cable stitches, and my hands don't hurt. Worth every penny. From a techy standpoint, screwing the cables on is super easy, absolutely use the tightener but don't overtighten (no need), the connection is smooth and yarn slides right over. And there's just something about these red lace cables that makes knitting incredibly easier. They have just enough weight to keep from twisting into knots or cutting into your yarn. You can combine more than one cable to extend the length but I haven't done that yet. Now a note of caution. I bought the 5" interchangeable needles because I work with DK and worsted weight mostly. And I LOVE this length needle. Chiagoo also makes a 4" interchangeable needle set but now that I have the 5" set, I know that the 4" set would be too short for my hands to work easily. So play around with your existing needles and see which length you could handle better for your size hands and the yarns you use. Have fun!

I am beyond happy with my purchase. I’ve been looking at them for a while now. Finally was a let to purchase. These are a game changer. Knitting is an extreme pleasure once again. I can’t say enough about these.UPDATE: I have now had time to use these needles for a pretty major project. They are so smooth. I feel like I'm gliding through my work. The cables are so nice to work with, no memory and no snags on the unions. These help me knit much faster with the points. If only I could give more stars. BUY THESE

Met expectations - feels smooth and beautiful to work with using varying yarn types. Occasionally the needles will unscrew from the cords. The tightening keys work to help. Would have been more useful if the cables, needles, accessories, were all the same gauge, vs small and large, just for extended versatility.

My mother started me knitting 60 years ago. In that time I have tried every brand of knitting needle that has been produced. I knit plain stitches, intricate lace patterns and also fully cabled sweaters. This set of needles are the absolute best and are the ONLY needles you should buy. They fit comfortably in your hands - by that I mean the actual needle of your required size is the perfect length. The cables joining the needles are wonderful and do not have to be soaked in warm water like some to uncurl them. Your knitting slides easily along the needle/cable thus you don't have to stop and slide your work along to continue knitting the stitches. They seem to be of excellent quality and I feel that they will last for years. These are rather expensive for knitting needles but they are worth EVERY penny. Would I recommend these - ABSOLUTELY!

Me han gustado mucho este estuche de agujas, no son pesadas, su cable no se enreda, y lo afilado de sus puntas hace que sea más rápido el trabajo. El mÃnimo de detalle que tiene es los claves que no son universales, pero nada del otro mundo. Seguiré ampliando la colección porque son maravillosas.

From the first few stitches, I could feel how different these needles are. It was stunning! The cord laid flat and out of the way. The joins are smooth, the needles themselves are sharper but not stabby, which makes knitting easier and so smooth and stops the wool separating across the needle points. They are light and very comfortable to use. The metal itself is a little more grabby than others I have used. Not at all sticky, but stitches stay put and, particularly in pattern rows, I find they don’t slip off the needles like before, so I feel I have much more control over what I am doing. I cannot recommend these needles highly enough!

Full disclosure: I already have the mini set, so I knew in advance that these are phenomenal needles. The 5†tips are my preference based on how I hold them, and the connecting cables are the absolute best for magic loop or magic loop 2AAT.Delivery was fast and had no issues during the process of purchasing them.
