I have crocheted for over 40 years using metal hooks plastic hooks and metal knitting needles. My big problem is always the yarn sliding off the end and dropping stitches. I read somewhere to try bamboo needles, there's less slippage. They weren't terribly expensive so I tried them and I would recommend the use of these needles made all the difference in the world!

The bamboo knitting needles are just lovely to work with, especially since I am a beginner. The wood grabs on to the yarn so it doesn't slip off the needle easily, and they look so much nicer than the metal ones. Very happy with this purchase.

I am learning to knit and they work just fine but be careful because they can bend out of shape. Overall good product.

I am new to knitting and was originally given a set of metallic needles to try. The yarn kept slipping and I was about to quit. Then I watched a video that recommended this type of needle. It has made all the difference! Not only did I figure out how to knit, but these are comfortable to use and have great drag. For a new knitter, I'd recommend pairing these with thicker acrylic yarn.

Ordered these knitting needles with some other items to get free shipping on $35 order. Knitting needles arrived today and are bowed. They should be straight. I returned them. And now I will have to place another order to get the knitting needles I need and won't get free shipping as the order will not be $35. Not happy at all. I would advise anyone wanting straight knitting needless not to buy these.

I am a beginner knitter and purchased these to try the feel of bamboo needles. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I love them: the heft, smoothness, ease of manipulation and interaction of needle surface to the yarn (as opposed to the metal ones I'd begun with). Very pleased!

I like the tension and feel of wooden needles. The ones I received have a slight bow, or curve. Not sure if it's intentional. If so, it's a specialized trait I'm slowly getting accustomed to. The tips aren't as uniform as I would expect considering the price. It's like the seller bought a lot that didn't pass QA and is reselling them for a flip. Stick with your local craft store.
