These are made for buckets, both the feeders and watered are made for 5g buckets. I bought some fittings to plumb them in a 14g tanker system, but that was over the top. It comes with the bits you need to cut them into the buckets, which is great, I didn’t care for the waterer bit, kinda cheap but gets the job done. The stop valves work like they should, and it comes with the wing nut and an o-ring.The only thing I really didn’t like about it is the feed port and collar threads are too shallow, so they slip over each other and do not “lock together†very well. I keep mine under a roof, so water doesn’t get in anyways, so it doesn’t bother me terribly. But I could definitely see someone getting REALLY frustrated trying to fit these snugly on the bucket, because you’re trying to fit a flat collar on a round bucket with shallow threads.Overall, if you wanna get a relatively spill resistant, water saving option, this is a heck of a deal. Yeah it has its problems, but 6 water 6 feed ports for $24, hard to go wrong.***Update:Been a year. Had to replace most of the waterers because chickens broke them. I ended up having to wrap the treads with plumbing tape, not leaking anymore.Feeder ports are on/off as to whether they keep the food in decently. Still the same problem with the threads. But they’re still on, haven’t fallen off yet, so that’s good I guess.I see the price dropped down by $5, I’d chock that up to the price reflecting the quality…I originally said “hard to go wrong†but I wouldn’t buy it again.

must make sure you measure correctly for installation, and about 1 1/2 in. off bottom of bucket for good water level

Just received yesterday. The waterers seem to work great! Replacing the waterers that require pushing the tab and I like these much better.Fills right to the top then cuts off with no leaking.The threads on the feeders are terrible. If you over tighten just slightly the retainer rings pop off. It’s very difficult to get the retainer ring started while installing into a bucket. After a 5 minute struggle, I thought I finally had one installed, but then I picked up the empty bucket and the retainer ring popped right off. Would not recommend this kit.Update: Feeders installed in a rectangular cat litter bucket, but chickens still waste a lot more than I’d like. So much for my original thoughts on the water cups. They have been leaking like crazy. The flow only stops when the water reaches the very top and leak right out of the back of the cup. Only one had a slight leak and I noticed it was installed in a downward facing direction. If you install dead level or slightly upright, forget it, they will leak, and leak a lot!Returning this kit and will buy something else!

easy to install and maintain cups are large enough and don't leak i installed the feeders about one inch from the bottom of the bucket so i only need a couple of inches of feed that i put in the coop during my morning feeding process only thing i can say about the installation is when drilling the holes for the water cups keep them the original size and don't make them any larger this will make a little of a snug fit which is what you want the rubber gasket goes on the outside of the bucket and if for some reason you do notice one leaking apply some silicone sealant between the bucket and the rubber gasket, tighten it up then allow to cure overnight.

One of the water feeders broke immediately at installation, and I just had another one break today (1 week after installation) no idea how, I'm assuming a chicken tried to stand on it, needs a stronger plastic fitting, the feeders are great though

Great size for my chickens, Ducks & Geese. Easy to install and comes with everything needed to do so. No leaks, and the feeders really cut down on the mess. Recommend!
