Love love LOVE these shades! They fit like I custom ordered them, and for a fraction of the price. We close them at night and they’ve noticeably reduced the cool air coming in, especially since they fit so exactly in the frame off our windows. When fully up they take up very little room. We have a small house but great views from our windows, so it’s great to not have curtains that limit our views and make the space seem smaller than it already is. It’s also wonderful to be able to pull them down just enough to block the sun but not the view so that I can do work at the kitchen table and still see the mountains (picture is with bright direct sun behind it ). Lightweight and easy to install even with a a back injury. Inexpensive but doesn’t seem cheap. It’s basic, but just what I needed

This is the 4th set of blinds I’ve ordered from this seller. They are ALWAYS, by far, the most affordable (size and color customizable) blinds I’ve seen. And these are not a “get what you pay for” quality either; they are good quality blinds! They always arrive perfectly sized and in the correct color, with all the necessary hardware and install instructions, and have arrived at least a week sooner than originally projected every time I’ve ordered. I will continue purchasing these as needed, and highly recommend them to others!

Took me a long time to find a solution for my double French doors. Was so happy to find ready made blinds that are the right size and great value for money. Easy to install and I didn’t even have to shorten them. Very happy with the quality. They almost disappear when folded up and they provide the perfect amount of privacy.

Overall product is great. Would have been 5 star if prices hadn't shot up since the pandemic, and all the stories about difficult installation due to unclear instructions are unfortunately true.My tips: 3x check that the (subtly!) Grooved surface on the top "mechanical guts" holding housing is facing you & the inside of the room and snap at least one bracket onto the shades before you screw anything in. Hold it up to the window frame to make sure its not in backwards. For outside mount, this will be "wide flat metal lip on top, flexible tab piece on the bottom".Pros:* Build quality is good, especially for the metal and fabric parts. Plastic looks "cheap" when you take everything out of the box, but it feels durable and looks good for something that's not a crazy expensive major brand.* Diffuse light is great, making the room look brighter overall, but there's also no blinding light peaking through right into my face like I was getting with my old miniblinds.* Easy to install once you've done it a couple times.* Summer and winter insulation is legit based on these and one other "cellular style" shade we've had in the bathroom for years (not sure what brand). We noticed a consistent 20-30% reduction in temp variation. You can no longer sense a temp difference in July/August or Ja/Feb in New Hampshire unless you're paying attention/"fault finding", to give a subjective performance report. Haven't tested scientifically except to say that we've been finding ways to reduce energy use and its working based on the 13 Month rolling KwH reports we get on our monthly utility bills.. I installed these new ones recently in an above garage office thats "theoretically" well insulated but actually roasts in summer and freezes in winter in part due to skylights. I need to address the skylights for a "total solution" but summer heat has been reduced quite a bit just be doing the normal windows. Too soon to know yet, but I expect to see heating/cooling costs go down 5 to 10% based on previous experience which aligns with most industry claims. Performance should be similar if not better to that bathroom since we're now shading and insulating a room with 4 windows that are full sun most of the year, and the room is often unused. A 20% to 30% improvement here would be a substantial dollars and cents savings, allowing us to run heat/cooling fewer days/year, and with fewer BTUs when we do.Cons:* Diagram in the directions needs to make bracket orientation much more clear, at least for outside mount, which I did. Getting it backwards is not only wasted time, but you also scratch the plastic (not may, but WILL in my experience). I was able to mostly hide scratches by wearing the worst of it off with a fingernail but you shouldn't need to do that at $68 a unit!.* You have less lightb and privacy control vs mini blinds, which is a drag considering i live on a busy street. Privacy is technically better when shades are all the way down, but you can't just open them part way to let more light in while keeping them mostly closed like with miniblinds. However, school drapes have the same limitation, and to me the insulation and improved lighting overall outweigh the performance hit you take in this one narrow area that's truly a "1st world problem".* Price and availability. Both weren't great compared to the pre covid status quo, based on the reviews prior to Mar 2020. That said, my items arrived early, so the seller and/or Amazon has been good about under promising and over delivering. I've made 2 separate purchases of this product over the last 1.5 mos. Both times they said "4-6 weeks" but they came in 10-14 days. Order well in advance just to be safe, but you may be pleasantly surprised and I'm sure speedy shipping will return in the coming months, God willing.Not so much a review but question... The temp insulation claims are accurate but have any other customers seen the claimed noise reduction benefits? I'm assuming its something of a gimmick, but I haven't had them installed on the noisy road side of my house to know.

These things are great. I put them everywhere. Very easy to install. If you have an impact driver, they go up in under 5 minutes. They look good and help save on the energy bill. They have about an r-2 insulation value. If you put thermal curtains over them and I bet you can get up to r-5 per window.What’s not advertised is they are also trimable. Not sure if it was my mistake or theirs but one came about 1/4” too wide. I just took it over to the miter saw and it was a quick fix. So if you want a very precise fit, order just a hair wider and custom cut it. Just make sure you have a sharp blade. The curtain fabric was hot coming off the saw. A dull blade may burn it. Just a precaution.

After seeing a few reviews that called out how difficult the installation was, I was prepared to have to work a little harder to figure these out. I told my son who was with me when I opened the box that there were reviews saying these blinds were confusing to install.10 minutes later, we had all three blinds installed (I do a lot of DIY around the house and I had 2 different cordless drivers, one with a drill bit to drill the guide holes for the screws and another loaded with a screw driver bit.) But still, about 10 minutes after we opened the boxes, we had all 3 blinds installed and were wondering how in the world anyone could be confused about how to install these.My son said that maybe those people had never installed any other blinds in their lives. I guess anything can be confusing the first time you do it but these were easy.And, my wife and I both love them. We used them on west facing windows that shine into our bedroom. In the Summer time, the sun sets late and shines directly at our faces when we are lying in bed. These blinds made a world of difference. And bonus, here we are months later and they also cut down on the cold air that was bouncing off the windows in the Winter time. So they are good for reducing the light and heat in the Summer and reducing the cold air in the Winter.The lifting and lowering action is perfect for letting light into the room when we wake up in the morning.All around good purchase for us.

A good size for my windows. I just moved to another appartement and the size I choose worked as well for the windows in the kitchen.

It came as a folded piece of paper with two clips. It looks nothing like the pictures (honeycomb cell) and video. There was not mount, no rail. 40$ for a piece of paper is quite an insulting joke. I requested for a refund immediately.
