This will actually keep my hair dry if I wear the hair guard swim headband from Headcovers.com.I have tried many things to keep my hair dry and this combo finally works!

This item works well but be wary of the nape area. Depending on your head shape, the hair on the nape area might still get wet. Keep in mind you how put it on but other than that, it’s good!

I have long, thick hair and have trouble finding a cap that doesn't come off or get my hair wet,; defeating the whole purpose of wearing a cap. Very happy with this. I purchased the large cap and it fits all my hair in it. Would recommend.

While the swim cap was a beautiful color, I returned it. I am quite sure it would keep hair dry, but it was so tight it was uncomfortable. The silicon almost felt sticky and was hard to put on as it kept sticking to my scalp and pulling my hair. It would be very hot if wearing it poolside due to the material.

I bought this hoping to keep water out of my ears when swimming laps but water still gets in. It is very stretchy and easy to put on, which is why I chose to keep it. I will buy ear plugs to wear along with the cap.

This is of good quality. A bit small for all my hair and my head must be bigger than average. But I do have thick hair. I can get it to fit but it takes a bit of work. Lovely bright color.

Let’s face it…swim caps make us all look like supreme dorks. They are also generally uncomfortable and sweaty. Now that we have that out of the way, this is a good swim cap. Depending on where you swim, you must wear a cap if you have long hair. It has a nice pouch in the back for my long ponytail. If you have chemically treated hair, a swim cap is a must, otherwise the chlorine will damage and discolor your hair. The purple color is very attractive. The cap has some nice grippy bumps on the inside edge to keep the cap on your head. It is also thick and flexible enough to keep its grip and stay in place on your head. For the most part, it keeps the water off of my hair (the edges get a little wet). So, if you must wear a swim cap, this is a nice one. It is worth the price too.
