Great padding and fits drum snuggly to keep it safe. Many of my drum friends love it

I'm overall happy with these. I bought 2 and use them occasionally to bring my conga's over to jam with friends. It offers good protection with the padding that is available. My only issue is that the straps are hard to deal with as they are pull strings for the opening. They end up being very loose and it makes it difficult to use them to carry the conga with it, especially when carrying multiple. I'm sure if you only had 1 and put it over your shoulder then it'd work. Beyond this, it's the best price currently for what's available and I'm impressed with the quality of the fabric/build overall.
i think i can smell it

I have a large djembe, 14in top and with the knots it's 16in. This fit perfectly! Shipping was fast and I'd recommend it if your serious about protection! Thank you!

I ordered two of these for carrying around cajon congas. 3 stars for now. Will increase to 4 if the bags hold up. (One star removed due to lack of shoulder padding.)The bag seems solid enough. It's somewhat padded inside—not heavily, but it doesn't feel thin or flimsy. To ensure good closure, you have to pull pretty hard on the straps to get the fabric gathered together at the top. Once it bunches up, that does provide noticeable padding on top.The uppermost fabric seems waterproof, but there's no top flap. So a small opening remains. Keep it in mind in case you ever have to carry the drum around in bad weather. (I can't tell if the main body of the bag is waterproof or just water-resistant.)The bag's straps—only about ¾" near the top—could start giving your shoulders a lot of grief. Calls for a thick removable shoulder pad of some kind if you'll carry the bag with both straps over just one shoulder. (For sure it's more comfortable when carried as shown in the product illustrations.)I wish they'd included a hefty hand strap on the side of the bag for horizontal carry. If the manufacturer reads this review: Please consider a hand strap for future models. Add a few bucks to the price. It will be a good feature.I think it will be fine for light-duty carry. I don't know yet if I'd want to use it for long-distance travel.

Even though I did not keep the bag because my Djembe drum is too small for it - I have to write a positive review because the bag was so nice. I wish my drum had fit in it so I could have kept it!

Very heavy-duty, completely protects my congas and I like the shoulder strap is also the drawstring.

This bag is designed for a certain size drum and the bag shoulder straps are not sewn to support the weight. The bag has only been used twice to transport the drum.
