It works perfectly, now my brake works. Fairly easy to install, the hardest part is removing the center console.

I have had issues with my E brake for some time and on a recent wheeling trip it finally let go and quit working entirely. It took longer to remove the console than for the install of the Brake lever itself. In my case the bracket that held the cables for the rear brakes had broken and allowed the handle to basically move freely. Install was simple and straight forward. A quick you tube search allowed me to remove the console with out any damage which made the install much easier. I know some can do it without removing the console but it will hinder you removing the nuts and for me I prefer it out of my way. I think my e brake is working better than it ever has and am quite happy I did not pay anyone to do it. Its a simple fix that most of you can do.

2014 Jeep jku- I was hopeful for this product. It showed up on time and undamaged. The clock spring on this assembly was so loose it almost unraveled upon installation. I had to wrap a wire around the clock spring and “wind,” it up twice just to barley get a remnant of worth from it. The OEM part is 80 bucks or so on the Chrysler website; if you order through the dealership it’s 100$. Do yourself a favor and order from the Chrysler website.-side note: in order to keep tension on the bracket, I installed two long brake shoe springs to it and stuffed them under the assembly and tightened it. It did the trick. This is a garbage design from Jeep/Chrysler and has caused me a giant headache. Just put an adjuster on it!! Hope the pictures I included helps someone else, being that I failed my inspection because of it and nothing seemed to remedy the problem except for me adding parts. Good luck

Mopar should have done a better job with this part. Did my one ton swap with fusion cables, Messed up my original thought this still had to wrap the Spring. One wrap tighter now it works perfect.
