Part was perfect. Fit right up just like the original and glad to have a functioning parking brake again. Those who say it doesn't fit their CJ need to make sure they're looking at the correct part. This is for Cj's with the 11 inch rear drum brakes and will not fit CJ's with 10 inch rear drum brakes. There was a couple years where they were made with both sizes.

I found one of my originals bent, so I decided just to replace them both since I was doing new cables too. It fit great in my 11 inch brake set up on my '72 CJ5

WRONG CATALOG FOR 1979 JEEP CJ7. IT IS A BIG LIEDOESN'T FIT AND NOT WORTH DEALING WITH THEM.
