Makes opening wine bottles much easier and faster, the seal cutter goes right on the top and cutes just the right amount off the seal and than the bottle opener takes about 3-5 seconds to get the cork out, press reverse and the cork falls out. When you’re don’t throw the wine stopper and pump up and that bottles air sealed.

It works good. The vacuum to seal doesn’t seem to work very well. But it does very well at tight corks.

I purchased this to replace an Oster opener I have had for years which still works but I wanted all black. The functioning is a total smooth removal of the wine cork. It's smooth and quiet for removal and extraction! I really couldn't believe how smooth it was when I used it for the first time. It continues to operate smoothly and quietly after several bottles. You can charge it from the top of the opener itself or from the back of the base.Note: you may have to fiddle with the opener to ensure the contacts are situated on the base for charging if you use the charging base which I recommend. Once you get the feel for the correct fit, you will not have any issues with charging so don't think you need to have the charger plugged into the top front of the opener which is not exactly asthetically pleasing.There is a light at the top of the front of the wine opener showing the unit is charging. Once charged, the light goes out. Really glad I chose this one over several others. For the price, the unit cannot be beat. Just another toy to add to my bar stash!
