So I ordered the set from somewhere else, and this pan from Amazon since it did not come in the set. Well this pan arrived before the set and I used it to make taco's last night. Impressed is an understatement. I stopped using nonstick pans years ago and currently own stainless steel cookware ( we all know how things stick to that) I am honestly in love with the circulon steelshield! no sticking, heats evenly, way easy to clean. Now I hope the rest of the set hurries and gets here! Do your self a favor, spend the money on these pans. I know I do not regret it!

Pros: Lightweight. Heats well.Cons: Straight high sides make it cumbersome to sauté or work in the pan. Terrible handle: gets hot and smooth/slippery round design is downright dangerous if you need to pour liquid out of it. It needs a helper handle. Absolutely horrible to clean. We used it 4 times before we returned it. The round ribs appear to be rough aluminum and no matter how much oil is used or how much we pre-heat the pan, food sticks to the rough surface. As you can't season aluminum, there's no fixing this. Don't even think of doing eggs or anything containing dairy in it.Cleaning is soaking in laundry detergent. Does the job in about an hour. We're done with dishes in less than an hour and going back for one pan is a non-starter.We returned the pan.

I have only been using this for two weeks but I love it. Food cooks so much better in this than my other pans and pots. I've used it to sear/fry steak as well as for boiling pasta and veggies. And it's deep enough to make a small soup in. It doesn't scratch and the ladle that comes with it has a nice, sturdy firmness and is very attractive.I did notice the bottom has already begun to stain though.
