The concept is nice but the clip is quite bulky and shoves the knife away from the body too much. Also, even with the adjust-to-fit feature the clip still is quite loose on the belt. The pinch to release is also quite a hassle; I usually have to squeeze the release points with both hands for it to disengage.

This clip is quite a bargain. For most folks it’s sufficient and will serve them well. I bought 6 of them for my sheaths and they fit correctly and hold the sheaths very securely on my belt. I did manage to break one when sitting down in an office chair and my kydex sheath caught the arm rest. The clip broke at the two screw holes it was fastened by. I was disappointed hoping it would have withstood more abuse than that. Overall, it didn’t leave me hanging though. I was simply able to turn the clip 180 and resecure the sheath as it was before since this has so many holes for mounting options. I contacted the company and they offered a replacement after I sent a photo of the failed clip.If you need one that is tough, I would pay the extra to get it. Otherwise this is a good bargain and worthwhile.

The holes did not line up for what I originally wanted to use it on but that is not to say it won't work on something else in the future. I am a knife collector and like to keep a variety of different clip options available should I need them.
