The “foam†between the metal and the guitar is too thin and the metal scratched my guitar every time I put in on. I do not recommend this product as feasible for classical guitar players

I purchased this for my classical as I have a narrow one that works well on my electric (purchased from Germany).This model is big. It is well made and materials seem to be of adequate quality.The issues are that the width is not adjustable, so if the guitar is not just the right width it may not fit. It did fit my guitar, though. The bigger issue for me is the part that sits on the leg. It curves for the leg, but it is essential flat otherwise such that the guitar can only sit perfectly vertical.If you lean the guitar back even the slightest (like we all do) the lift can only rest an edge on your leg which is uncomfortable and less stable. Maybe a slightly rounded base, or some ability to tilt it? The narrow one for the electric doesn’t suffer this so much because it is so narrow already.
