My pool is very old with ancient, worn surfaces and needs the chemicals perfectly balanced or it just gets discolored fast. This keeps it in line and works quickly. I was using a different product from the local store and had to measure it out and pour pounds and pounds of that in to change the alkalinity much at all. This works with lots less product. It’s way more convenient because I don’t have to weigh it out. And it ships fast and free from Amazon so I don’t have to go to the pool store. It really can’t be any easier to get balanced than using this. I’m so glad I switched to this.

Over time my pool had slowly creeped down to 70ppm TA (16000 gal). I added 4 Solo cups worth of Alk increaser and the following day my TA was 110ppm - perfect. It made this adjustment without effecting PH whatsoever - exactly as advertised.

We’ve always used this brand. It works good for what it’s supposed to do & keeps our pool balanced. Why fix what isn’t broken … price is great & we have no reason to try anything else
