The product was okay but I can not get it to hang my chimes. I don't know If I am doing it wrong or what. The chimes keeps slipping on the pole where I can not line it up with the hook. I managed to get one chime up but not the others. The chimes kept slipping off the pole and falling on the ground.

I had a manually operated sun shade installed on my front porch. The rod that came with it was too short (I don't do ladders anymore) and the hook was to small to grab the pull-down ring (I could barely see it, much less grab it). This pole is great; my feet stay firmly on the porch and I can capture the shade very easily.

We purchased this to pull down some very tall blinds, and I’m sure this rod is overkill for that purpose. Might also use this for hanging lights outside on trees for the holidays.The roughly 12 inch lengths screw together tightly and allow you to adjust the rod to your desired length, and this comes with two hook styles.Well built, doesn’t feel like it will bend/break easily. The hooks could snag easily on fabric, so might be good to add rubber tips if used to hang clothing.

Strong enough to hang my bird feeders.The extra hook helps keep them from sliding down the pole. It can be awkward to get the item onto to the post hooks as the hanging tool does not spread them apart as much as my previous hanger tool.Overall it works for what I wanted it for
