The up down direction change lever on the handle works rather hard, maybe it will break in with use . I disassembled the handle and greased the detent ball, helped somewhat. Be aware this is a Chinese made product. ( Made in China does not mean it's got to be bad)

These hoists are very small. Perfect for tight spaces when not lifting large loads. Seems well made and functioned properly.

Bought this to attach to a small work crane to lift around a 100 lbs. steel cover. Works great. Will update if anything changes.
