We bought the tool to remove the ring of a wheel bearing that we could not get out using screw drivers, pry bar, 5 pound hammer etc. The initial attempts were not working well. Either the prongs would slip, the braces would slip etc. We added then three things and removed the ring in a minute.1 we added a socket in the hole to keep the prongs from bending in/slipping and it forced the prongs to stay on the ring to provide the upward force.2 we added a c-clamp on the braces to keep them in place on the rotor.3 we added a pipe over the cross brace to keep it from rotating as we were titening the bolt downward.After these additions the ring came out without too much issues. Overall a decent tool but needs reinforcement

I made a mistake that I bought it and kept it couple of months before opening the box. When I get chance, I tried this item and it doesn't even care to pull the bearing from my motorcycle wheel. The teeth isn't biting the edge and it just lost its sharpness. I literally wasted my month on this junk. Finally, I bought OMT bear removal tool and removed one of the bearings. Eventhough, I had good space now since i removed bearing and spacer that gives me a hollow space. However, the teeth doesn't even care and doesn't even shake a bit of bearing. PLEASE DON"T BUY SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. OR, IT IS NOT FOR MOTORCYCLE. GOOD LUCK.

The conical shaped piece in the middle (spreads the claws) fell off during first use. I also needed to modify the arms to provide the strength needed. Was I successful with this tool? Yes. Was I frustrated with this tool? Very.

Whoever made this has clearly never looked a a pilot bearing before, the hooks are too big to pass through. I'm sure it works for other style bearings that are bigger just fine, which is why I gave 2 stars. But if you're looking to use it on a pilot bearing, I'd pass
