I ended up hooking these to each other to hook up multi devices to an old coax tv with one in port on the back. I was adding a ruku with DMI hookup to a RCA converted to coax. It had one out port that I attached the two of these to. That gave me 3 out to the tv, 1 I used for the coax to tv line, the other 2 I used for a dvd player and analog converter box with reg. tv antenna into it. The signal is still good, I worried the picture would distort. If you are doing a similar hookup the nice thing is when the dvd player is powered off the analog plays fine so there is no need to unhook anything. In this set up only the ruku needs to be manually turned on or off through the RCA converter box which has a power on/off switch.
