I got home from school so excited to put this in my birds cage. I opened it and immediately tried to put it in the cage. Outside. I opened it and one of my birds flew away, I was so scared but I caught her and put her back. Anyways I prepped it and put it in the cage. Birds have yet to try. Also, nest looks perfect for birds. Definitely worth the money.

I have a sweet pair of parakeets that I received when they were two years old. I have bought other types of nests for them as the male very much wants to have a family. I added six tiny pieces of paper to her last box-style nest, and she wouldn't touch it afterward.This coconut hut home is Miss Lacey approved. She and Vincent picked at the top cording until now it looks like a shaggy haircut. There aren't any issues with the cording giving way. It is built well and a good-sized opening for them to get in and out. A cozy little spot to start a family.

The coconut hut was just the right size gor my zebra finches. I did remove the ladder that was attached to the coconut hut, but the ladder is decently easy for birds to use. I have small hands, but even so, trying to clean the inside of the coconut hut can be challenging, so I used an old bottle brush to clean it when the bird mess is caking the inside. All in all, I believe this coconut hut is great for small birds, like finches, budgies, maybe even a lovebird.

I bought this second time!!! I absolutely love it and my budgies love it too. It is a perfect nest for your birds. One of my budgies laid and raised three eggs/ babies in it. Its her perfect home! My birds happy means I am happy!

My budgies love this coconut. They like to rest inside sometimes, but never together since it is on the smaller size. Quality isn't too bad. Coconut is well built, but the pieces of wood on the latter seem to be hollow and they chip away easily. My budgie was also able to destroy the cord that attached to the coconut in a matter of 2 days. I wouldn't say this is completely the product quality's fault.Overall I would recommend as a little cute additional for your budgie. Keep in mind it is not that big and wouldn't fit more than one budgie or any larger bird.
