These fit nicely in the nests. I have birds that just use the liner to nest on eggs and if not and they use the string, it's easy clean up.

I like that it is the right size and will keep the eggs under the hen to increase the hatch rate of the clutchOnly issue is it also makes it hard for a stray egg to find its way back into the hens nesting location. Ideally, the entire bottom of a nesting box would be sloped to the middle where this pad is located
