Short version: This is the best grinder you can get (read below to see why — and this is not hyperbole)Okay, if you don't like coffee you really need to stop reading this right now. This is a MUST HAVE for any one who only wakes up in the morning because there *is* coffee to make the morning memorable. Normally I just use those cheap spinny "grinders," but this is not that more expensive it turns out, and it does this job so much better!Burr grinders are the best — I mean we all know that right? This is dead simple to operate: TWO dials! How many cups and what level of grind do you want? Powdered sugar or playground gravel? (Or any of 12 steps in between those two extremes). This is super fun to watch. The beans store nicely in the hopper, and the chamber is sealed of course, so they stay fresh longer. Now all you have to do is bring beans as you need. Coffee is *always* fresh from now on. And honestly (for those who have not experienced the joys yet of grinding your own beans), it only takes a few moments to grind a pot's worth of beans versus digging out your canister of pre-grounds and scooping them — but the difference in aroma and taste is the difference between eating bland food and being served a home cooked meal.Okay so the PICTURES! This is what you see when you open the box. The manufacturer really cards about this product. When you open the owners manual, the FURST THING you see is "what to do if yours does not work! Wow, I wish everything was this easy to repair or replace. Also, and this is something most people will miss. Amazon send this to you in a box, BUT the manufacturer has: the retail box (that's the pretty one with all of the pictures and sales copy) and a shipping box (to protect the "pretty box" on its way from the factory to the store where you will buy it. THIS IS IMPORTANT: The "pretty box" is so snugly fit inside the mfr. shipping box that it is practically vacuum sealed! Why is this important? Their shipping box was *engineered* within one millimeter to fit the retail box — and the mfr. shipping box is thick and extremely durable. This costs money. And this level of box engineering is something only the super-premium brands (of any product) will bother with. This is a clear indication of the QUALITY of this grinder. It is the little details that are ignored by most that reveal whether you are getting what you are paying for, or off you are paying for what you THINK you are getting. Also, the dial action is **smooth** — like glossy surface texture smooth. Once again, you can't tell this stuff from pictures. Whoever engineered this was in fact a master. I have never heard of this brand but now I am an instant fan. If you get one of these in your hands to play with you WILL know what I mean. Okay, anyway . . .One of the benefits here is that it is a low-speed grinder. This really gets in there and applies torque, not velocity to your beans. They are mercilessly ground to uniform perfection rather than being assaulted in a tornado of cheap blades traveling at hundreds of miles an hour. Remember, we are after a BETTER TASTE, and this is how we get there. Also, with the skinny blade models, you will sometimes smell the burning of the armature (the electric motor) and that is not pleasant. That is because those cheap high speed motors are not resistant to the . . . resistance of the beans they are massacring. Also, this is remarkably easy to clean. I think that is a must in a coffee grinder: easy to clean, easy to store, and even easier to use. But, given how compact it is, this can live on your counter and take up less space than your coffee can, so that make it even more convenient.Super easy to use. Just push the button. It does the rest! Just please, PLEASE don't do what they do in the product images. You don't need to grind all five pounds of beans at once! Their hopper is way too full! Just blend what you need at the moment or you will defeat the purpose of fresh ground beans, If you absolutely have to grind your beans the night before, do that and then cover them with a paper towel and tamp down a bit to see in the oil-escape as much as you can overnight. Remember, that SMELL is flavor evaporating into the air. Okay, that is my rant on coffee. I hope it helped. Thanks for reading this. I know you will fall in love with yours.

This review is for the Coffee Grinder Electric Burr Coffee Bean Grinder for 2-12 Cups, Adjustable Burr Mill Grinder for 14 Grinding Settings, Stainless Steel.Oh man am I happy! I just got a new expresso machine, I love coffee! I have a stove top percolator, I have a french press... I refuse to use the normal electric autodrip machines anymore. I stopped using them years ago as I was just sick and tired that I could not get a good cup of coffee from them! I tried all diff brands, types, grinds.... and I haven't looked back! The french press and stove top perc are the best, but I'm now going t have lots of fun with the expresso machine too with this grinder!I recently got a manual grinder, it's harder to grind beans by hand than you think! LOL. My thought was I'll just use it, get used to it and then when the power is out it won't matter! LOL. Well It'll still be nice for that, but otherwise I'll be using this new electric grinder! LOL.So I still need to play with this some more to get really good with it, but so far it's worked well. I got the silver one that has the manual knobs and I'm glad I did. I really do prefer the knobs over the electronic ones. This produces a consistant grind, which is a huge improvement over trying to use a blender, food processor, one of the nutribulllet machines... which produce anything but consistant grinds LOL. Go ahead and laugh, yes I tried them! This machine is kinda heavy for it's small size, but that might be a good thing. And yes it makes noise but it's really not as noisey as my blender or nutribullet. At this pricepoint I think this thing is a great buy! I'm hoping for a very long and happy use of it!Regular price $ 89.99 per the listing for the 14 grind manual selection model, on sale $ 69.99 AND there's a $20.00 off coupon right now!As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.
