I like that you can set it at different temperatures, has settings for cups made out of different materials, has timed shut off and automatic shut off. It keeps my coffee and tea nice and hot, but can also be used to keep something warm. I’ve bought a few for presents and everyone thinks they’re great.

The color looked cuter than I thought!I got a pink and my mom got a green one. Super cute!I used to keep my coffee warm and also with a candle. The instructions are easy to follow and it has a safety feature to turn it off by itself.

I was looking for a warmer with an auto shutoff to have at work. I have a cheap Mr Coffee warmer at home, but it does not have an auto shutoff. This one seemed promising.I tried it with my normal (read - curved bottom) mugs and it would NOT keep anything warm, even with just a small amount in the bottom of the mug. I know that coffee warmers work best with mugs with flat bottoms, but I had never had such poor results with the Mr Coffee warmer, regardless of the mug.I was on the verge of returning this warmer, but I decided to give it a try with a flat bottomed mug. I only had one with a flat bottom, and it was handmade ceramic. It worked MUCH better with this mug and now I really like the warmer. The adjustable heat setting is nice. The hottest setting keeps a full mug plenty warm, and I can turn down the heat as I empty the mug (as opposed to overheating the last few sips!).I've taken off a star because you really have to have a very specific type of mug for it to actually work.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and she commented that it does help keep her coffee warm. It doesn't boil it or anything but it does help keep the mug warm to help keep the liquid from going cold.

I had gotten used to drinking warm coffee and tea until I got this warmer! I enjoy my drinks so much more now. My only complaint is the button reacts to a glancing touch and I have accidentally turned it on.

Yes, I know, all of the reviews say you must use a cup or mug that has a flat bottom, but I don't have any of those. This hardly keeps my tea warm, and I like my tea HOT. Doesn't get it there. I tried two others and they were the same. One made noise. This one doesn't. There was one whose description said it got hotter than the others, but it was not UL listed and I did not want to ruin my electrical system just to get my tea hot. Another factor: if you want to leave your empty cup on the heater, in order to turn it off, you have to unplug it. The color is a very dark navy blue, so that it looks black. I've had it too long now to return it. That's my problem. I certainly wouldn't buy another one.

I bought this one after the one I had before failed after three months because of a cheap on/off switch. That had been the only one I had been able to find that kept my tea hot all day and it was the second one I had gotten of that model because the first one had the same cheap switch that only lasted a year and half, but I felt it had been worth it until the second one broke so soon.I use a porcelain mug for my tea and it doesn't have the perfectly flat bottom that is recommended for most of these warmers, but this one keeps my tea hot all day, at the perfect temperature (highest setting) that I like it to be when it comes time to take a sip. The only thing I don't like about this one is the automatic shutoff, but at least it blinks when it shuts off to let me know the plate is still hot, so I just touch it again and it turns back on and I'm good for another 4 hours. (It doesn't sense when I pick up the cup and reset itself, as some other reviewer seemed to think it did. It stays on for four hours after it's turned on and then it goes off until it's turned on again.)I work all day in my home office and this one has a nice long cord so it's easy to place it on my desk where I want it to go and there's still plenty of cord left to reach the place where I plug it in. It looks nice on my desk (I got the green because I didn't want the dark blue), does what it's supposed to do and seems to work well. There are no moving parts to break, so I'll see how long this one lasts, but it should be good for a while unless the electronics go bad (like so many others do these days).Very pleased so far and highly recommend. Only time will tell how well it holds up over time.
