I've tried DIY hooks made with hot glue and felt, the round yellow sticky back thing from England, duck tape and hook.. ending in disastrous results - 3 broken Wedgwood plates. Oddly enough, I ordered replacement plates from an auction site and when they arrived, they had these odd hooks, and I could not for the life of me pull them off. That's when I knew your product was what I needed. I am pleased to say, I feel confident these hooks will not pull away from my plates. How do I know, I barely adhered one on the plate in the wrong direction and had difficulty repositioning it. The glue was that good. I will be ordering more as I need them.

i bought these to hang two gold mining pans that my MIL painted about 40 years ago. My MIL has been gone almost 30 years, so these are especially cherished by the family. I wasn't sure how I was going to attach a hanger to them, but found these on Amazon, ordered them and they worked perfectly. Now I am going to start looking at other "difficult to hang" items in a whole new way. These are a game changer.

A fast and easy way to break your favorite plates. These do not work. I followed instructions and even waited a day before hanging up my favorite plates. Four fell off the wall and shattered. My walls are painted with satin paint and aren’t rough or textured. Buyer beware.

Very nice but hope to one day remove it cleanly. Hung a vintage heavy German plate and so far so good. Looks beautiful.

I was looking for a mounting option with an adhesive backing that could lie flat. My roommate’s cat is always knocking over our trash can, so I used two of these with a carabiner to tether it to the wall. Works perfectly and very strong hold! We have not had a trash can incident since. Just be aware that the metal piece is designed to unclip from the plastic piece.

I was talking with a church leader in my living room when suddenly we heard something fall on a wall. One of these had let go, and luckily the item fell onto a shelf not far below it, allowing the item to be safe. And I was able to change it to another one of these, which held the second time. So the stickum glue doesn't seem to be even on all of these. Out of the four that I used initially, only one let go and to be be replaced with another one in the set.If you're going to use them on the back of a lightweight wall hanging that weighs virtually nothing rather than a plate, I would recommend gluing two of them in place with a strong glue and, when they are dry, connecting the triangle tips at the top with a hanging wire or string so that you can get the picture straight on the nails.

I love these as a replacement for the old style wire hangers. Simply affix to back of plate and hang!
