It takes 30 minutes to soak the first time you use it, and about two hours to freeze it for use. I stuck it in a jumbo plastic ziplock and pulled it out when it was ready.The intense cooling faded somewhat after 30 minutes, but there was a noticeable difference between wearing it and not wearing it. I was outside for many hours, and it started to dry and lose effect. I just poured a bottle of water on it and put it back on.It's also comfortable and not entirely unattractive. I just wore a light button-up shirt over it, and you couldn't tell I was even wearing it. I wholeheartedly recommend this vest.

Made well, 2 Velcro straps on either side to help adjust for size difference. The design flaw comes with the ice packs. Maybe 50+ ice packs but they are as big as a tide pod. First night froze for well over 3 hours in a deep freezer, took it into extreme heat (extrusion) 110+ and melted within the hour.Tried it again for a 2nd night, froze well over 14+ hours, took it into work, wore a 2nd layer, vest on top, and another shirt. 115+ temps, melted again within the hour just getting my clothes wet. Returning this because IΓ’β¬β’m highly disappointed. IΓ’β¬β’m sure it would work great if it was extreme heat, but what purpose is it to have the best for 1 hour?!

My husband pains cars for a living on top of living in NC, so between the heat in the shop and in this paint booth, he is exhausted within an hour. I had a friend tell me about this vest so I bought it. HE LOVES IT!! Says it has helped keep his temp down so much and now everyone in the shop wants one.

I work outdoors in Nevada and am having a hard time with the heat so I purchased this in an attempt to help. It is much more high end looking than others IΓ’β¬β’ve seen. It works well for around 45 minutes to an hour, but after that it looses its cooling effect. If youΓ’β¬β’re aware of the short cool-life and willing to get some relief for less than an hour, it works great!

Based on description it claims it stays cool up to 8 hours which is very far from the truth. The vest stays cold in our North Carolina weather for only max of 2 hours and I am being generous. It really only stays cold up until 1.5 hours Max. Now I do really like the design of it but it doesn't even deliver even half of what it advertised in description as up to 8 hours. Just a meager 1.5 hours not even 4 hours which would be half of the advertised amount. Very disappointed in this purchase is cost 74.99 plus shipping cost. Please don't purchase this product they need to make quite a bit more improvement to this product.

One size does not fit all. It is very hard to find products small enough to me. I ordered the small and it fits great and keeps me cool for hours. I have MS so this isperfect.

This product certainly does not last. Tennessee late May and early June maybe 45 mins to an hour worth of cooling. And that is after the vest has been in the freezer for days and days. Not good for those of us who have medical heat intolerance. No issues with the seller quick delivery I notice it is a small business owner and I support them but the product no so much.
