This Coleman portable stadium seat with back rest is far more comfortable than a simple foam pad, and far more portable than models with a metal frame. It's very light weight and rolls up tightly for easy packing and air travel. We bought a pair of these for events at the Orion and Red Rocks amphitheaters, both of which have very hard wooden benches. They've proven to be very comfortable. The under-seat padding is compact and dense, yet very supportive. The seat back is sturdy and makes all the difference for hours-long sessions. You can lean back without worry, and the angle is easily adjustable when you need to shift around a bit. And the mesh pocket is handy for keep up with small items.

I purchased two Coleman Portable Stadium Seats for my family, and overall, they’ve been a great addition for watching sports or attending outdoor events. The padded cushion is quite comfortable, and the backrest provides good support for longer periods of sitting. The lightweight design makes them easy to carry, and the adjustable straps are a nice feature for securing the cushion to bleachers. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the material feels a little less durable than I expected, especially after extended use. The fabric has started to show signs of wear, and the cushion could benefit from a bit more padding for extra comfort. That said, for the price, it’s a solid product, and they’ve definitely made sitting on bleachers more enjoyable. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend them for anyone looking for a portable, comfortable seat for outdoor events.

I ordered 3 of these to use at the Rose Parade - about 5 hours sitting on metal bleachers. Seems like a good test of the product. These seats are super lightweight and pack up into a small bundle, which is fantastic for carrying them from the parking lot to the grandstands. Since they don't have a rigid frame, they don't take up excess room on crowded bleachers. The seat cushion worked very well to provide padding and insulate our legs from the cold, hard metal bleachers. Also, the parade was a lot of fun! :)

I pre-tested this in my living room before taking it out to an event I was going to last night and I'm glad I did that. It wasn't unusable however the padding on the bottom was really insufficient and the backrest isn't really strong enough to be supportive. It is adjustable which is nice, also the fact that it can fold over or lay down completely flat is nice. It's very straightforward and easy to use. This would be great for a kid, imo. But it could use a little bit more gusto to be fully useful for an adult body.

I’ve had a Sierra chair like this for over 30 years. It traveled to many destinations with me. Alas, it is finally too tattered to be seen any more. To replace it, I ordered this Columbia chair. I was concerned at first because it’s more narrow than the old one. That concern evaporated after using it a few times. It’s very comfortable, well made and I love the bright blue color. I use it mostly for sitting and watching TV. It supports my back beautifully whether I’m reading, watching TV, traveling, camping or even visiting others. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the shoulder strap. The strap is fine for carrying but not so much for sitting. I haven’t figured out how to tuck it away. That said, I haven’t cut it off because it’s great for carrying when your hands are full. In short, I love the chair. It’s worth much more than its price for the comfort it provides in hotels, in rentals and in my own home.

I love this cushion! The fact that it rolls up makes it easier to carry than the similar cushion I used to have that just stayed wide and flat. Also, probably because it is made to roll up, the seat part hugs my butt comfortably and makes me feel supported. It is easy to lean back in this thing without feeling like I'm going to tip over. The straps tend to slip a bit if you lean back too much, but it's easy enough to tighten them.

Ok, I got this today and literally just tested it out so I have no idea of the longevity of it or how well the straps for the backrest hold up. But this is my initial impression:I was looking for something I could use on my back steps to sit outside and give my backside some padding from the hot concrete. Then I came across stadium seats that also allow you lean back while cushioning the backside. And to be honest, what's also been bugging me was sitting on my top step while supporting all my weight by my elbows on my thighs. I spend a lot of time on my back step reading, watching birds, planes, sometime rocket launches from Vandenburg, and stars. My back and legs were starting to ache now that I'm older and sitting on concrete. The idea of being able to lean back, kind of like a chair really made me think that idea was perfect. For the price, the reviews were decent enough for me to purchase. So far the being able to lean back is really nice for the back but surely not the backside! The seat portion is terrible! First, an aluminum or other material stadium bench would be far superior to sitting on slats. These are kind of hard and you can definitely feel every "slat." I get that it's so it will roll better, but what do you want it for, to roll it and carry it or be comfortable sitting on it? The other, is leaning back, hurts the tailbone because you have to sit far enough back to have your body weight hold the straps. So you are basically holding your body weight on your tailbone. That part really needs the cushioning. So far I'm going to keep it and I'm going to find a cushion that is the right size to fit the seat. But if you're looking for something to keep your bum comfy that is transportable to events, this is NOT it. But if you want to lean back on a step, yes, but don't expect it to me comfy on the tushy.

Not bad, but sort of squishes your buns and legs together. It does help a lot when sitting on bleachers as it provides back support, which is why I bought it. Nice and compact. You can throw it over your shoulder and it weighs practically nothing.

Product is convenient, easy to use and carry and is comfortable to sit on. I use mine at an outdoor amphitheater where you sit on cement with no back, thus the need for this product.

I needed a backrest when I sit down for yoga. I tried this product for such purpose but it's more useful as a stadium seat rather more. The product is built okay. Side scrapes are bit difficult to adjust parallel.

When I was in high school (20 years ago) a teacher brought one of these with her to a school camp, and we all fought to get a turn sitting in it... I never forgot how comfy it was!So I bought one... great for the beach, takes up no room in the car, and sometimes I strap it on to my Vespa. SO good.

I got this seat to sit on at an ice rink. I spend a lot of time at the rink while my daughter has her skate lessons. Fellow parents have now also gone onto Amazon to buy these now because they are so comfortable and it’s nice to have back support. Or also rolls up like a yoga mat and has a carrying strap. Perfect for cold hard benches.
