The color changes when they get cold. The kids love these and are excited to use them. We have washed and reused these for months and they still work great. A few have cracks in them from being on a hard floor and getting stepped on. The kids are always trying to guess what color the spoon will change into. Great as a gift. Now I hope they come out with spoons that change color when they get hot.

Five different colored spoons change when exposed to cold. We had fun experimenting with a cup of ice water and a cup of warm water to see how the spoons changed. Word to the wise, they become very brittle if frozen.

They change in hot, they change in cold! Reusable, well that’s an understatement. These are at best a heavy duty disposable plastic spoon. They’re flexible, see through and transform shape in hot temperature items. To use as I did for a cool add on to give away gifts, I was a little disappointed!

These change color rapidly, and wowed my young niece who had never been introduced to something I loved in my youth. Just don't throw them in the dishwasher. And, be sure to put them back after you "borrow" them for your morning cereal, or they *will* notice. Made a little girl's day for only a few bucks.
