I got these watercolors for valentines but we had extras so my kids used a set as soon as they saw them. The colors are great, the paints aren't dry or cracked and are all individually wrapped. The colors were wonderful! I compared them to some other paints we had and found great results with these. The wood paint brush is also a bit sturdier than the standard plastic one that comes with most sets. Both paint brushes could be used again and didn't get frayed or flattened even with 3 year old hands. And what a value for the money! Less than $1 per paint set! I would buy it again if for some reason I run out...but I have 72 sets now so...probably good for now :D

These work as they should, and are good quality. My favorite thing about them is how many you get for the price. With some very creative little kids, they can quickly destroy things like paint sets. I've been able to wash out the pans about 4 times after paint sessions, before I needed to open another one. (The paint is quality is high enough that when I wash it out to remove a layer of paint to get back down to the original color it doesn't all go away, which is awesome.) Highly recommend for creative individuals that want to have a lot!

Love, love love this set of watercolors! I order these for my kinder+5th grade classes and use them for non-profit bulk art projects in kits. The brush is good quality (which matters!) and the colors are clear and go on smooth. And the price point allows me to order these for bulk kits for art projects or classes and doesn't cause too much waste when a kinder student mixes up the colors past the point of no return!

I purchased these paints for our school's Art Smart program. Each grade focuses on a different artist and parent volunteers make the presentations and direct hands-on art activities. I was teaching about the American watercolorist Winslow Homer in 3rd grade this year and wanted the final activity to be a watercolor seascape. I was able to provide every child in the class with a set of these watercolor paints because of the exceptional price. The paints worked very well and the brushes are of decent quality. The paints go on fairly light when applied with water, so I encouraged the kids to use a drier brush (or mix with black) if they wanted darker colors. I also brought my own larger brushes. The only down side to the sets is that white is not included, so I provided some white acrylic paint for those who needed it. The paint palette has enough paint to last through several small projects. I would definitely use these again.

My K-8 French immersion school has made a commitment to arts integration. As part of our program, teachers plan and conduct units that incorporate arts into the standard disciplinary curriculum. My middle school English students naturally have opportunities to examine readings from a perspective in the performing arts. The have always used visual arts passively, comparing poems to paintings, for instance, or drawing lessons in cultural aesthetics from scaffolded studies of scultpture and architecture. This year, they are adding an active dimension to their arts integration: Using many media, including these watercolor sets, they respond "in kind" to works of visual art, and they express their responses to written work through authentic works of visual art. Naturally, the public school budget cannot accommodate such luxuries. The watercolor sets I bought from Color Swell offer a useful variety of good-quality paints, with a durable brush, at a reasonable price. I am grateful for the practical option Color Swell offers.

I bought these to give away in favor buckets for my son's birthday party. I only needed 20 or so, but these were well-reviewed and a much better value (at the sale price) than the Crayola watercolor bulk packages...and my son loves to paint, too, so I knew the extras wouldn't go to waste! I was very pleasantly surprised at how bright and vibrant the colors are. Many "value" watercolor paints can look very faded or muddy, which is why I usually just go with Crayola, but I'm glad I gave these a try. I can't speak for how well they would work for an advanced art student or professional, but if you are using them with kids, they are perfect. And the wooden brush is a nice bonus.I would definitely purchase these again! I'm a children's librarian, and I'll probably be ordering a set for arts & crafts programs at the library, too.

Since I have a class of 22, I was excited to purchase in bulk. The price was fairly cheap. The colors are bright and the paint quality works for the projects we are working on.

I've been looking at ordering a set of watercolors for a while, and I finally did when I ordered these for a Mother's Day art project that I wanted to do with my second graders. The paints were shipped quickly. They worked really well, and they were easy to clean. My class of seven and eight year olds were all able to handle it by themselves. A little paint got on one of my student's shirts, and he tells me that it washed out in the laundry.I'm very happy to have this set in my classroom. I think they'll last a few years since I know we won't use them very often.

Best quality for the price. Much, much, much better than dollar store brand that’s more expensive. The quality is really good in my opinion, but I’m no expert . The colour runs really well, lasts a long time from one application, and builds up well too. The paint itself is very smooth. The paint is more gel-like than the bad chalky stuff. No complaints here. The kids and I love these watercolours.

These were perfect for my class holiday gift! I have 30 students so this bulk set was perfect. I had 6 left and we used them in class. It’s great quality and worth the money. Came out to be about $2 a piece. Better quality than dollar stores.

I bought this for my class. They are a bit pricy but I will be able to reuse next year. Great quality and the kids loved using them.

I gave each of my students a paint set for Christmas. Every single one of them loved their gift and spent lots of time painting with their families over the break. Their parents were also thrilled. These paint sets made the perfect gifts! I love that my purchase meant a donation of art supplies to children in need.
