Bought these for my students. Crayola has the best brand for watercolor paints for elementary aged students. Brushes are good quality and paint colors are vibrant and bright. Any spills/messes are easily cleaned up with water, no need to worry about stains. Each palette also lasts a good amount of time, so good value.

I have taught for over 9 years and have gone through many different brands of watercolor for kids. This is by far my favorite and is now my only go to. Great price, long lasting, and wonderful color!We use these daily for school and normally 2 will last the whole year!Kids can open them easily and I love that it comes with a paint brush and a spot for the brush as well.Highly recommend

Crayola, as per usual, is the best quality. These last longer and don't break down as quickly as the off brands. These work wonders to occupy the small kids for some time. Even with younger kids who can't paint very well, 2 to 3 years old, I've had luck with keeping occupied for an hour or so with an easy to clean mess. This is great for developing fine motor skills as every kid wants to get his picture on the canvas the way he wants and will do anything in his power to have more control. Kids stay focused for a half hour to an hour, and I can get a break. Clean up is just a wash cloth and a towel. Perfect for a messy, but not too messy activity.

I teach elementary school watercolor classes and these Crayola paints are the best I have ordered so far. Have ordered three sessions (winter, spring, fall and now winter) in a row and they have consistently been this version. They are rectangle paints (not the usual ovals as well as what is pictured) and last longer and seem to have more paint in them (says 2x's as much and I would agree it is definitely more). It also comes with a better brush (size 5, green in picture) than the other 8 color standard set (size 3, yellow in picture).

Bought the Crayola Washable Watercolors for a kids' birthday, and while they served their purpose, the colors didn't come out as vibrant as expected. Kids had to add a lot of water and rub quite a bit to get the desired hues. Decent for the price, but I hoped for more vibrant results.
