Nice jacket for wind or rain! I would not purchase this for warmth as it is very thin. But it’s great as a rain coat or wind breaker for the price.I think it must run true the size because I ordered up one size and it’s a little large on my five-year-old.

I ordered this in the Small, then the XS, then the XXS and all were too big. Really like the coat and wanted it to work, but it runs very large for little kids.My son is 4. He wears a size 4/5 in boys. He's 44" tall and very slim. The problem is the arm length and it doesn't have any adjustment at the wrist, so there's really no way to combat it hanging down. Had to return.

This is a very lightweight and durable jacket, the sleeves were a tad bit long but definitely nothing to complain about. Keeps you dry and warm when raining. I wouldn't suggest wearing it when raining and humid, because it does keep you warm despite being pretty thin.

Our first Columbia purchase, this rain jacket has done wonders for our son over the last two years. He is getting close to growing out of it but the jacket has served him well on many a hiking trip or rained out school day. Zipper are great, material is high quality, design of the hood is smart so that he has a stand out flap above his hand and his neck is protected. Make sure you get the size right but this jacket is simply awesome.

My son is loves this coat. It is light weight and keeps him dry. It layered well so on cool days he still could wear it. The color is beautiful and the zipper works well. It washed well and didn't shrink. It is tough too. Perfect for any child!

Bought for a 6 year old to wear in summer rainstorms. Serves it's purpose well.Don't count on this to keep you warm at all. Compresses nicely for packing. Decent quality zippers.
