I decided that I wanted to save myself some money and do some of my landscaping on my own. I have a large property with a lot of shrubs that need to be trimmed and pruned. My landscaper wanted to charge me $300 so I decided I will do this myself. So I purchased an electric hedge trimmer and blower that would handle the easy part of trimming. (see my other reviews for that). The tough part I assumed was going to be cleaning up the leaves and branches. So I headed to amazon to see what could help make this process easier. I needed something that would be easy to move around to carry the leaves and debris without needing a wheel barrel. The Collapsible hardshell bottom 47 Gallon Leaf Bag was perfect for carrying all the leaves I trimmed. Because it was a hard bottom, I wasn't worried about dragging it around. It's also very sturdy. I thought the branches might puncture the bag but it never did.But the real star of this product was the large scoop leaf gloves. I was able to scoop large amounts of leaves easily and quickly. I used a combination of my metal rake and electric blower to gather up all the leaves into piles. And then I would quickly pick them up with the large leaf scoops. This alone was worth the price. So all in all if you're looking for a fast and quick way to clean up leaves and debris you won't be disappointed.PROS- Price- Large leaf scoops- Large leaf sturdy bag that is collapsible- Easy to use and set upCONS- The provided garbage bags are a nice touch but thin and cheap.- The garden gloves are light

I'm pleased with the barrel size & balance. Not easy to secure once it's collapsed, I'll need to use an additional strap or bungy cord. The leaf gathering claws are really to small to work well.

My neighbor recommended this to me while watching me struggle with the typical biodegradable paper leaf bags. It makes yard cleanup a lot easier. The hard bottom slides across the ground without damaging it.. easy to maneuver with because it’s light weight; With strong handles. The material is durable enough to put just about anything inside from sharp twigs and sticks to soaking wet leaves. I love that I can hose it down after use and it dries quickly .The claws were a thoughtful addition and have come in handy very much! they are large and strong; no job is too tough for them.I highly recommend this bag. It’s well worth the money.

I bought this Colwelt 47 gallon leaf bag, and a 3-pack 30 gallon from another brand (also pop up style but without the hard bottom). The Colwelt one is better made, better stitched, thicker fabric material, heavier weight, and seemingly will last longer. However I didn’t realize how large the 47 gallon would be at time of purchase, so I was like WOW when I received and opened it. And so while I really want to keep the Colwelt one, I think it will be way too heavy and difficult for me to manage once filled with leafs and yard stuffs. The other brand in 30 gallon is not as well stitched, has thinner fabric material, not as durable for sure, but the size is more manageable for the petite me.I should have purchased the 31 gallon Colwelt instead. That said, Colwelt brand is also 3 times more expensive than the other brand, and I need at least 3 so the cost really add up. Both brands come with the claw style leaf scoop and a pair of gardening gloves. I wish they offer an option of just the leaf bag without those extra items so people have a choice, as I already have leaf scoops, and I have TONS of gardening gloves. If I buy 2-3 units of Colwelt (which is my intention), what am I going to do with so many leaf scoops? I will be returning both brands, and I will keep my eyes on the Colwelt for sales. If you are looking for pop up leaf bags, get this brand, but decide on a size that you can manage and you won’t regret this. And Colwelt, please consider selling just the bag.

When I look at the 47 Gal I didnt realize how big it is and will fit the largest of clear yard bags easily! Its also a solid plastic bottom with holes and thick canvas. The claws are large enough to grab a good sized scoop of yard waste. This was a great purchase. Note: there are no trash bags included but who cares!
