  • Contents: THIK-Grip Thimbles | Small (1) - Medium (1) - Large (1)
  • Functionality: The THIK-Grip Thimble is a huge upgrade compared to traditional thimbles. Not only will it easily stay on your finger and not fall off, but you can easily grip your supplies and continue sewing while the thimble is still on. The comfort level is well above traditinal metal thimbles as well!
  • Material: The thick HYPOALLERGENIC tip allows you to press needle heads and have a tactile sense of it, but experience NO PAIN. Please note that you'll still need to be careful not to forcefully press the sharp end of a needle through the silicone, because the material is NOT pierce-proof.
  • USE-CASE: This item is most popular with 1) Elderly women 2) Girls & Teens who are just learning to sew. Why? Both groups love the THIKibility, ease of use and finger tip protection. Plus! These are perfect for moms with kids during hot glue projects - the THIK-Grip timble has has thermal-protection properties, so an accidental hot glue drip avoids direct contact with the skin and keeps fingers safe!
  • Support: American Owned | Family Owned | Small Business - we've got your back. If you give the THIK-Grip a try, we promise you'll love it. If not, we'll accept your return - no questions asked. Great for hand sewing heavy items. Hand sewed Binding on a King size quilt without a single finger stick!

It grips well but I have fat fingers and eventually, I'd feel the squeeze.

If you need or use thimbles go for the metal ones. These do not prevent the needle from injury as the needle can go right through this product.

I wasn't sure what to expect out of these but they're actually pretty cool. They come packaged in a resealable, branded bag which is really nice. They're a pretty, smooth purple silicone. They come in three sizes. I have long thin fingers and the largest size was way too big for me so I'll probably never use that one. The medium one fits my thumb and the small one fits any of my other fingers. They're funny because they kind of suction onto your fingers like a finger trap but they do stay on well and bend with your fingers. They have texture at the tip to help you push the needle into the fabric without hurting your fingers. I've only ever used a thimble with my grandma in the 90s otherwise I've just taken the brunt of the needle. This is an easy way to eliminate that. I could see them getting holes where you poke after a lot of use but I think they'll last a while. They're a nice quality and movable. They're easy to deal with on your fingers. I'm happy with them and will enjoy using them for my future projects.

I do some manual sewing work to tailor my paint for a better fitting. It's been always a pain when pushing the needle through the clothes...especially for Jeans. Sometimes, I even use a piler to help move the needle. This THK-Grip thimble is a great idea to address the pain to the point. The silicon thimbles are easy to wear. And it does remove the pain of pushing a needle through clothes. It's true that I still need to get a piler to push through thick clothes. But, most of the time, I can live with the THK-grip thimble. I would strongly recommend this flexible thimble for people doing some manual sewing work.
