Okay…. Not what they meant when they sold it or designed it. But it works great for hot water. Water was 50 degrees and got to steaming hot in about 20 minutes for 15gallons. Such a nice shower 😂

We use these in our glass polishing shop. We recirculate a polishing slurry and the slurry heats up over time due to friction. We have these inside a container where the slurry flows to and from. We have a chill water system that keeps the coils cool and in exchange, cools the slurry. These work great for what I need them for.

Such a nice chiller. Us to use a good home made copper one but the copper was a pain. SS works amazing and cleaning is so so much simpler then copper. 10g batch from 212* down to 75* in no time at all.

Cools 2.5 gallons of wort to 90 degrees in 15 minutes tops and that’s in 75 degree weather. I live in California so waters not freezing nor warm. Use it all the time

The flare nut on the male side seeped even after tightening. The female side does not seat correctly. Seems to be a cheap inferior hose fitting. Returned, will try again as I really need this to work.

This wert chiller significantly reduced the time it took to get my brew day moving forward. Construction was solid, no leaks. The coil was a bit high for my brew pot batch. I brew 5 gal batches and some of the coil is not covered by the wert during the boil for sterilization. I could have gone with the shorter coil and would if i were to repurchase. However, this chiller works great. I knocked off one star because the coil isn't straight - sort of like the leaning tower of Piza!

Used this as a heat exchanger for a different setup. hose fittings are crimped on so you must use pipe cutter to get them off. Sturdy construction and was shipped with no damage. Would recommend!
