We have some similar to this, but they’re too short for grilling and have never been able to find some at this link the same style. The teeth on this make the difference for the grip has been working out great.

Heavy duty tool, without being too heave to use. End of tongs are curved in with a scallop to better grip heavier items. Quality tool.

Stainless steel construction, they seem sturdy enough to work and should last IF the locking mechanism is decently constructed. I have yet to use these so I'm only going by how they feel and appear to me. They're nice and long so your hands shouldn't be over the hot part of the grill and the silicon over the metal handles covers a large enough area to be useful. They have nice teeth so it should be easy to hold things when you pick them up, even if the whatever you're picking up should be slippery.All that being said, the real test will come when the weather warms up. Will these rust hanging outside on the grill (which I keep covered)? Will they bend while being used? Will the silicon come off the stainless? Will the teeth last? Is the locking mechanism well-made? All questions to be answered over the course of the warmer weather when the grilling really gets going.Right now I'm quite pleased with the purchase but time will tell how these hold up.

My husband was looking for some longer tongs to use while grilling — these are extra long and heavy duty - not flimsy like others!!!

These are great tongs for the BBQ and I live the handle, without having to worry about melting the tips, like with rubber ones.

These are the biggest bbq tongs I've seen. Very sturdy and a comfortable grip. They look great and are easy to use.

I had a flimsy set of tongs that I used on my grill for a very long time, and I happen to notice these and thought I'd give them a try. I didn't expect much for under $8 but I was very surprised at the strength and quality of these tongues. They provide a firm grip without being flimsy and allows you to flip your grilling items with ease. They are heavy duty and quality built and a great deal for the money. Highly recommend
