I work in a commercial kitchen, and our old mops were worse for wear. It was getting difficult to clean with them. So I took a gamble on this mop during a sale and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. So much so I ordered two more. Replacing our old gate mops with these has been night and day, the spring latch is so much better than the old screw on method of the other mops uses to hold the head in place. And the mop heads, I wish I could buy them separately as they are much higher quality than the blue ones we used to use. All in all I would say this is well worth the price.

Clean floors. A sense of… order. But then the whispers started. Faint, rustling sounds at the periphery of hearing, always when the mop was stowed in the utility closet. I dismissed them as the old house settling, the wind in the eaves. Foolish me.Last night, I awoke to a silence so profound it pressed against my eardrums. The usual hum of the refrigerator, the distant traffic – gone. And then I saw it. A faint glimmer of dampness trailing from the utility closet, winding its way down the hallway like a luminescent slug-trail. I followed, heart hammering against my ribs, to the closet door.I hesitated. The silence within was a thick, suffocating blanket. Taking a deep breath, I wrenched it open. The mop stood upright, its cotton head now a disturbing shade of grey, almost… pulpy. And at its base, a scattering of small, black, chitinous fragments. The sound I’d been hearing wasn’t the house settling. It was the faint crunching of something… consumed.It cleans well. Uncannily so. But I can't shake the feeling that it doesn't just absorb dirt. It absorbs… something else. Something we can't see. Something that leaves behind only the faintest, unsettling residue. Four stars for effectiveness, minus one for the existential dread it now embodies.

Easy to assemble and use. The metal rod to me personally is easier to hold and less likely to break versus a traditional wooden one.THe mop head comes off easy and can be washed in washing machine no problem.

We purchased this for our daycare. We have teachers of varying heights, so our favorite feature is that the mop stick is not only adjustable, but it goes as high as 61". That means that our teachers, who are over 5'5" can also comfortably use this product. Pros include:- Adjustable height with more height than most mops (61")- Universal mop head for easy mop loop end replacements- Hole for hanging up the mop- Machine washable loop end- Both mop handle and end are durable and are withstanding daily use with bleach wellHighly recommend for any and all commercial uses. Would also work well in someone's home, too.

This is a great commercial style mop for larger floor surfaces. It's simple to assemble and the handle adjusts to accommodate your height preventing back strain from leaning forward if you're on the taller side. The cotton loop end mop head pops out easily for cleaning in the washing machine. No one likes to mop the floors, but this one makes the chore a little easier if you have to.
