Tech note: The 2013-2017 Nissan models automatic transmission gear shifter intermittently are not shifting into gear when depressing the brake or when it is not shift out of park. When 2 micro switches are worn out, it causes intermittently bad connection to the shift control circuit that is effecting the shift inter locking function.
Our solution is replacing only 2 micro switches "Repair Kit" instead of buying an expensive complete assembly from the dealer, or you could get a used part eventually having the same problem.

Nissan does not sell these switches by themselves you have to buy a whole new shifter... If you are reading this review you probably know that already. Install was easy, the hardest part is getting the console and dash apart and back together. Can't speak to longevity at this time, as I just did the install... But it works perfectly now.

My gear stick on my Nissan Pathfinder 2013 was stuck. I couldn't change gears and after a brief google search it was recommended to change this part. I got it in a couple of days from Amazon, an hour later, some YouTube University education and my car has no problems shifting gears.

This product was just what I needed to fix my shifter on my 2013 Nissan. Though I believe my husband said we might have received two of the same part, but he was able to fix it with what we received.

I used these switches to replace in the shifter assembly of our Nissan Pathfinder 2013. Heard mixed reviews on which switches to use but these have been doing great since we put them in!

I installed the products. The shift selector part works fine. The solenoid unit does not work. I have a constant error message on my car display. VERY aggravating. You cannot buy just one part from Nissan. So my option at this point is purchase another part and dive in to make a repeat repair, or just live with a constant error message every time I start the vehicle AND live with a constant error message display on the odo/speedo. Not somewhere I want to be and it is all due to the crappy parts.
