I am doing a pan off restoration to my 69 VW Beetle. I wanted an upgrade on the shifter and chose this one. Looks great and works perfectly. I like pushing the button on the side of the T-handle to shift into reverse instead of having to push down on the stock shifter to shift. Shorter throw and a more precise shift pattern. Great product.

I cannot figure out why all the other reviews are good. This product does not work.74 standard beetle. This shifter will not go into 1st without pushing the button. The plate does not allow it to engage over far enough..I will say the tightness is awesome though..🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸

Item arrived as described, New and in perfect condition.It took me less than 30 minutes to install it and a little over 45 minutes to adjust the gears.I will buy from this company again for sure!!

ive had these in the past with no problems. however this one the button for reverse falls out of handle when engaged into reverse. a bit annoying. but also for the price I didn't expect greatness. ive figured out why it falls out. but haven't figured out yet how to remedy the issue. otherwise it looks good. easy install.

No more mis shifts and the throw is great. its super stiff and precise. DID NOT COME WITH BOLTS. but had some turbo studs that fit perfect. TOOK 5 MIN TO PUT IN Reverse is locked completely until you press the button. its not as awkward as i imagined it would be at all, love this thing.
