I have a 2012 Ultra Limited and my OEM shifter linkage let me down. Ordered this one and was happy to see that it was well made and nicely polished. Took about 10 min to install. Shifting feels firm with little to no play.Don't forget to use some blue loctite when assembling. I didn't, and lost the rear bolt after about 2 hours of riding.

Rod, heim joints, nuts and bolts all seem ok. Adjusted and installed easily. There's a cool little cover for the small rear shift arm, but no cover for the large main one? That's pretty goofy... the rear one is 90% hidden so it's pretty much unnecessary. Would have been a lot cooler if it came with a front one instead.

This shift rod seems to be be made pretty damn well. The heim joints are very smooth, and the finish is very good. The shift rod itself is made of aluminum, and the joint of course are steel. It does suck a little that both ends are standard thread, and not opposing. This means you must disconnect one end or the other to adjust. No biggie really, once it is set it won't be going anywhere. I am very pleased with the product, so far, for the price. I will update if I have any issues. I think my trip from OH to NC will be a good test, and I always have the factory part if things go wrong.

Factory shift linkage broke at a few miles short of 19k. Bought this replacement and wow does it improve shifting. Better feedback for finding neutral, crisper shifts, and it was easy to install. Threads are a little gritty, buy not terrible, buildup from the coating process. Be sure to use blue Loctite!
