Got this for my 05 gmc sierra. Wire was cut in half do to stock wire routing. Plugged right in, fits as stock part. Works great. Keep in mind angle of this shift lever may very due to your year and model. But worked great for my 05

my trailer tow light will not come on anymore. I replaced the orange wire that was severed with this and it works just fine. Easy to do just YouTube it.!!!

I don't like that the dust boot is just a little undersized. Leaves a gap either at the top, or at the bottom. The curvature of the handle is too curved and causes my fingers to come into contact with the dash bezel when I shift in and out of park. Other than that, it works.

Fit my 2002 Avalanche like a glove. Sure beat messing and splicing tiny wires! Bought the whole unit and had less aggravation.
