CONCRETE GRINDING WHEEL

effectively remove the scratches left by metal grinding disc

7" Transitional Ceramic Grinding Wheels 5/8"-11 Arbor Diamond Cup Wheel for Concrete Polishing

Usage: Starting with a 30 grit 7" for the first cut and followed with the 50 and 100 grit before going to 200. For a minimal grind to just remove the stain and avoided potential gauging from a cup wheel

1. Mounting Grinding Wheels

  • When fitting a grinding wheel, ensure that it is neither too loose nor too tight on the flange. Properly gripping the wheel is crucial to prevent slippage during operation, but avoid tightening it with excessive force. Never resort to using a hammer for this task, as it can lead to dangerous consequences.

2. Maintenance of Flanges and Screw Threads

  • To maintain the safety and effectiveness of your equipment, regularly inspect and clean the flanges and screw threads. Make sure they are free from burrs and rust, as these imperfections can compromise the wheel's stability and overall performance. By keeping them clean and well-maintained, you can ensure a smoother and safer grinding process.

This 7” ceramic cup wheel is a pleasure to use! The large size really helps keep the surface flat, but of course it can also be used on broadly curved surfaces as well. I am a sculptor, so usually I’m wanting the contours; however, when I do want a flat plane (eg. on the bottom/base) this disk is very nice to have. The 200 grit is nice for me. Just aggressive enough to move stone when needed, but fine enough that I’m not having to deal with a lot of tool marks. This is my 2nd ceramic tool, and I’m really liking them. The ceramic apparently provides a very stable platform for the abrasive, so it performs amazingly well. It is amazing that it can be both aggressive and at the same time present a smooth surface, which reduces tool marks. Very nice!Another nice thing about the smooth, stability of the tool is that it doesn’t ‘chatter’ or bounce at all on the stone. This is important for me, as I sculpt thin, delicate shapes. Very nice. The light weight of the tool is also a great asset for me; very little metal is used. Because I carve delicate shapes, I am always looking for tools with a ‘light touch’. Even this giant 7” cup wheel gives a light touch.

Contracted to have our small shop floor at work epoxied and told the contractor I'd supply the grinding wheel so I could review this product. When asked for his impression of the wheel he said it works as well as any of the name brand 7" diamond wheels he has used and held up excellent. He did mention that some of the off-brands "are crap" and that even for this small job it would require multiple cheap wheels. When he returned this ComeFloor wheel he noted that it showed virtually no wear, still had excellent balance, and as he put it "Was ready for the next job".I look at reputation before purchase and especially in cases where I am not familiar with the brand. ComeFloor is just getting started here on Amazon (only one other product that gets excellent reviews). They do have feedback elsewhere on the net and it is excellent (they manufacture a wide range of diamond tools). Conclusion: This wheel is priced within 10% of the "MOST POPULAR" competitor here on Amazon so not an outstanding value at the time of this review but it does work very well, is durable, and is made by a company with an excellent reputation.

Fooled me into believing that I was buying American made because of the flag on the product, but box it came in says made in China...

I got the 200 grit and let me tell you, I'm so happy I did. It takes the cut marks right off my stones in seconds and saves me hrsof work. I wish I had this 2 years ago! But better late than never. It was easy to put on my grinder, it glides with ease. I don't push very hard if at all, and just let it buff all the unwanted saw lines right off.y rock. Be carful when using it, especially on a grinder. They are dangerous. This is a durable wheel, and saves lots of time. It's cost is worth its weight in gold. Great wheel! I highly recommend it.

I used this wheel to knock down a few high spots on a cracked slab before pouring self leveler ahead of tile installation. It worked well and showed no signs of wear after use. I suspect it could be used quite a bit more aggressively than I used it. I'd order it again.

At 200 grit, this is for polishing rather than grinding. It would be good for prepping a concrete floor for painting. But I'm concerned about the RPM rating. It says 6700 RPM. Very few 7" grinders are that slow. I'll be spinning it 8500. I hope it doesn't explode.

My concrete floor finish in the shop had a few rough spots caused from previous projects. We want to finish the floor but needed a way to prep it. This grinding wheel is making quick work of the raised surfaces, cleaning off the glue and shellacs and giving me the nice surface that will be perfect for the final finish.

This 7 inch diameter 200 Grit grinding/polishing wheel arrived in a simple box captured inside the folds of the cardboard fully protected. It should serve nicely to grind out any stains or whatnot on my hearth stone in front of the fireplace. It can be used in a variety of applications not just on stone or cement.I have yet to test it out but, it is built tough and seems like it is custom designed to do the job as required.Nice quality sound construction and offered at a fair price = great value.
