I installed lathinig on our basement walls using these anchors and they work great! The predrilling of as many holes as I needd was the only challenge. Once they are in they are not coming out!

Using these spring nails to finish a basement where the wall is concrete. I have used 1-inch styrofoam boards as insulation layer and then 1x3 inch horizontal slats to hold them in place. I drilled holes through the slats, the styrofoam and about 4 inches into the concrete walls using a 3/16" SDS-drill. Before I tried I was uncertain whether a nail could ever be as strong as a concrete screw. After using my first box of 100 nails I bought several more to finish the project. The little bent tip creates a very strong friction grip between the nail and the walls of the hole and they are absolutely impossible to remove. No screwing necessary. I used a small sledgehammer. Highly recommended - easy to use, work as advertised and create an extremely strong bond to the concrete.

I liked the pull out resistance, nearly impossible! I would like to see plating other than zink to make them more resistant to the chemicals in pressure treated lumber.

Used these to anchor 2" foam board to basement walls with 3/4" furling strips. The job was fast, efficient and these were 100% effective in getting a good firm attachment.

Using a masonry bit that goes 4" deep, I drill a 3/16" hole through 2 1/2" of material before it goes into the concrete wall. That means only 1 1/2" of this Confast nail penetrates the concrete wall. But its a firm grip and won't let go. If you use several of these the pieces of wood you're nailing to the concrete wall will hold 'til the Judgement day.

I was surprised how well they hold in the concrete wall. Used them to strap foam insulation to the basement wall.Saves time over tapcons

They are just standard hilli pin. They look, work and feel the same as the more expensive ones I buy locally.
