CONFAST Zinc Self-Drilling Drywall / Hollow-Wall Anchors are self-drilling drywall anchors and provide excellent holding value and greater capacity than screws alone. This anchor cuts threads into drywall, greatly increasing the bearing surface and strength of the fastening. Strong Zip Tip does not sheer off when self-drilling.
Starts easier than other drywall anchors and can be removed easily.
Zinc anchors don't break as easily as plastic anchors.
Package Include the following:
100 Piece zinc self-drilling drywall Anchors
100 Piece #8 screws

I used these in my soft material drop ceiling, pretty soft and lightweight 1/2" thick cardboard type of material. I have been looking for a while for something that would anchor into such a soft material and not have to worry about it falling or pulling out under a weighted load. These anchors have a nice deep spiral cut into the soft board, with a strong grip. I was half expecting the insert to start spinning/stripping in its hole as I tightened the screw into it. I pre-screwed it in first to make sure the threads were already grooved into the anchor and was happy that I was able to get the screw in tight without any problems. It is a super sturdy anchor and have a small pulley attached to it that is holding up a 12 pound home-made chandelier. I'm a retired Army combat engineer and have no worries and trust these anchors to get the job done safely and not fail under a few pounds of hanging weight. These are worth there weight in gold and I am so happy to finally have found this product. The price is very fair too!

I bought the 100 pack version, even though I initially needed only 16 of them. I am very pleasantly surprised how well these work. I tried it on a piece of 0.5" wood first, trying out different drill bits, gradually increasing the size until I found one that works well.My project involved mounting these on hollow core interior doors to attach coat / towel hooks (2 anchors per hook). Until now I was using one of those 3M command strip hooks, which work great for a while but eventually fail. These worked great on the door.I am so impressed with this that I will start replacing various screws and nails around the house we used to mount frames, pictures etc.Highly recommend it.

I've been using the nylon anchors my whole life like an idiot. These are awesome because no pre-drilling is required. At its simplest, all that's needed is a Phillips head screwdriver, though power tools makes it a breeze. Not a bad price for 100 anchors + 100 screws. No pre-drilling, no re-drilling for best fit, no broken anchors, no digging them out with a pliers, and no more anchors falling out of the wall. Snug fit every time. As a bonus, these are totally reusable. Simply unscrew them from the wall!

These work as intended thought I did think the anchor felt more brittle than others I've used, so that's the reason for taking away a star.

Major improvement over the steel hollow anchors. or the spring drywall anchors . I just started using these and I'm really surprised. Faster, easier and stronger . Really impressed with the product.

It was great. Had no problems with this item. I don’t understand why it would get lower than 5 Stars. Screw the item in by hand and you won’t tear it up. 5 Stars

wall anchors are ok, used them for years, but these take that concept to the next level- actually purchased for hollow door mounting, and they worked so well, I knew they would be ideal for drywall - which is their original purpose...punch hole where you want to place, I use an impact driver with phillips bit, and drive them flush , then use the provided screws to secure whatever you are mounting ....fy....this review is for the METAL ones, not sure the plastic ones would do as well...ymmv

These plugs are my go-to for hanging items on my walls. They are easy to use and quite sturdy depending on the load they are subjected to. The one issue I have is I use sheetrock screws instead of the screws provided. I would much rather have the manufacturer / seller to provide an option with more plugs and no added screws, that I just throw away when I open the package. V/r, Dr. Marc B.

I found the anchors good but the screws are terrible. I went through different size phillips bits but none of them drove the screws without a struggle .
