I need food grade buckets that weren’t 5 gallon. The work great for storing g my flour and sugar. The only downside is that the screw on lid is tricky.

Be aware that, as other reviewers have said, it is very hard to get the lids on. The ring that is supposed to snap onto the bucket feels impossible to be able to do it this. I just soaked them in boiling water to soften them, and they snapped right on after that. Now that I have them, I love these. They are predator proof, etc.

Love easy twist opening to scoop out dry dog foods and dry beans or rice storage. Keep cup size scoop in each. Seals well for fresh insect free seal floor pantry. I can see many uses in future to get more of same size. I like 3.5 over the smaller sizes as it is to keep big bags of items smaller bags can go into canister or jars

I bought these buckets to make chicken feeder and waterer. Works great except hard to open and close. I added vaseline to the rims which helped. Hopefully in time they will get easier.CD
