I've been using various types of pillows of various thickness and firmness and it has been extremely hard to find the right one. For years, I've gone through many different pillows, most end up causing some sort of ache by the end of the night. I got this pillow based on the reviews, knowing however that not everyone likes the same pillow. This is the first pillow of this type I've purchased with the specific intent to improve my posture while I sleep and hopefully improve the quality of my rest.I am a side and back sleeper, and find myself shifting MANY times from side to side, to my back all through the night.I got this pillow, and after using it for a few minutes I began to feel an ache in my neck. I thought maybe it was too hard...figured maybe if I slept on it all night long, I would regret it with a crook in the neck for days, so after only those few minutes I bailed on it and put my regular setup of pillows. Disappointed that perhaps I'd have to return it.The next night, I decided to try it again, but decided to intentionally go a little longer. I probably used it for maybe 30 minutes this time, before I felt like an ache was beginning to develop in my neck or shoulders. I bailed on it again, and went with my usual setup.Determined to give it a fair shake, but not wanting to cause a lot of pain because of it, I decided to try again the third night and essentially figured I'd increasingly add more time each night. Well, I must of been really tired, or something in my posture clicked because the next think I remember, I was waking up in the morning having felt quite rested. I slept on the pillow all night long, with no aches whatsoever.Since that third night, I have slept ONLY on this pillow and while I haven't yet had it for a month, I find that I shift MUCH less than before. And because the pillow maintains its support all night, I do not wake several times to readjust my old pillow setup for better support throughout the nights. I feel like my deep sleep cycles last longer.I'll update again later if things change but for now I'd encourage you to give it a fair shake. If you've been sleeping on something else that holds your neck differently, you may need to work yourself into this in stages like me. I love that both ends of the pillow have a bit of a higher contour than the center in order to hold your spine straight while on my sides. I can definitely feel the difference in the better support throughout the night. And while I might have thought it was too firm initially, it is just right. And while I might have felt like it wasn't high enough, I realize now it is just the right height.If there is any disadvantage with this pillow, the only thing I can say is that I'm used to having the soft cool feel of my pillows up around my checks while resting/sleeping and this does not provide that, but the advantages seem to far outweigh this and I suspect in time I'll get used to this new feel and not miss the old setup in any way.

This pillow really good, I got Queen, it’s not too soft not too hard, comfy, still you need time to get used to it, but no neck and back pain anymore.

This is the first ergonomic pillow I've ever purchased. Here's why:1. It had strong, well-detailed reviews.2. Amazon had a coupon during the time I purchased it and I had a credit on my account, so it was less than $40 at the time of purchase for me.3. I have a shoulder injury that needs proper support when I sleep.What I like:1. It works! After the first night, I woke up feeling much better and well-rested. My shoulder and neck were not in pain (more than the base-line pain from a shoulder injury a few years ago).2. I slept through the night and don't remember waking up to readjust for comfort.What I don't like:1. It's not comfortable when I'm lying in bed on my phone. I usually switch back to a traditional pillow while winding down for the night.2. I need more height in the corners for side-sleeping. It's definitely not bad, but I want just a little more height in the corners so that when I'm on my side, my shoulder isn't tucked in as much. About another inch or even half inch would do it. I'm 5'9" and roughly 200lbs, so I think this would be great for someone with a smaller frame/shoulder-to-neck area.Notes: I read the directions that arrived with the pillow and let it air out and fluff up on a flat, well-ventilated surface overnight. It had a slight smell to it when I first opened the package, but that completely disappeared the next morning. I did not immediately use the pillow the first night I received it so it could properly air out and fluff up to normal size. This seemed to be the key, based on other reviews of the smell and lack of thickness.TLDR: great investment (since I got a coupon and used some Amazon credit from my acct), instantly helped with my neck and shoulder pain, prob won't purchase again since I feel it needs a bit more height for a side sleeper to keep my shoulder from curling under (I'm 5'9", 200lbs). Highly recommend for the price, esp for a first-time purchaser and/or a smaller framed person.

The pillow did support my neck like it should, but after using it for two weeks, it’s still way too firm for me.

I bought this with high expectations but it's really unworthy

I purchased this because I am tall with a long neck and need good support. On top of that I have sleep apnea. I have struggled with many pillows over the years. This pillow has some of the best reviews so I took a chance and I was pleased! Not as thick as some of the pillows out there. And squeezing the material in my hand I had my doubts about the firmness and support claims, but I tried it out. LOVED IT IMMEDIATELY! I got such a good night sleep! I do not find it overly firm - I find it perfect for me. I would love to see this as a king size variant of this product as it is a bit smaller than I am used to, but otherwise it just works. Love it! Will order again when I need to!

Not good for my neck. I was disappointed. It is a surprisingly low profile pillow.

Is alright when it comes to comfort.. but does not provide the support stated. Not worth the amount I paid.
