Not only does this part not correctly fit snug inside of the motor’s housing, the actual gears are too big for the e46’s worm gears that drive the latch mechanisms, the OEM one is shown outside of the motor in my picture, and this product is inside of the motor; if you look closely, it has bigger slits, and it overall is bigger. I bought this specifically for the white pieces that came with it. The white pieces that were included were too small and did not fit on either the OEM or the new product save yourself the time and do not buy this product if you have an e46.

Took about 30 minutes to replace, im not a mechanic and it was fairly easy, dont forget to grease them after you place them in the gear housing

Half the kit is good the other half went into the trash. Lucky I bought 2 of there. I ended up using the stock oem plastic holders rather than the ones in the kit. Excuse they did not fit. Also the gear that is most likely broke is the on you need most and works.

Absolutely junk. Only one gear fit, and did not fix the issue. Massive waste of time, and money.

The output splined shafts are too large so they don’t fit the Bowden cable ends and the supplied bushings can’t be installed over the end due to the size.
