I thought these would be a lot cheaper and flimsier for what I paid. I was wrong. These things worked perfectly. Pay attention to the size you want. But I thought as much tugging as I did on some they'd break. No problems at all.

I picked these up as clasps for children's capes. It took more strength than expected to pull the clasp apart. I am afraid that if the children (ages 2-7) are playing and a cape gets grabbed the buckle would not release. I also doubt even my 7 year old niece could easily pull it apart. I know a cat could not.

These break away buckles were perfect for the lanyards I made. They are great for safety to avoid choking and the quantity is great I will have enough of them for quite a while.

Ich nutze die Schnallen in den Mützen meiner Kinder, welche zugeknotet werden. Die Kinder können sie problemlos selbst öffnen und schließen und falls mal ein anderes Kind an der Mütze zieht öffnen sie sich sofort sodass keine erwürgungsgefahr mehr besteht.
