Item is just as pictured. It works perfectly for attaching to 1-inch (or 25 mm) straps. The straps tighten easily and stay tight. This is to make custom length webbing straps to organize items going into a large duffle bag, so that the items don't all stack up in a bunch inside the duffle.Happy customer, would buy again if I need to.

These are great in theory and good in practice, but I have had 3 buckles break while in use. In each case I was able to tape the break and keep using them, but it is a shame they aren't made a bit stronger in the first place. Not a deal breaker for me, but a real annoyance. They do not break due to the heavy load but simply due to the airline's (rough?) handling. BTW, I now use two straps on each box, just in case.

The price difference of buying one piece or the package of six is best to purchase the six pack. Delivery was next day and item works well and the strap is easily threaded.

I was wanting to add extra buckle to secure backpack at hip area. It slipped on fine and now my straps do not hang freely and I have option to secure around my waist.

These worked great but I also used gliders to snug the strap up. The are well made considering it is plastic and has a solid catch/snap mechanism. Happy with purchase.

The material just slips through. You can't tighten it.
