classic dog toothbrushes get chewed on when using, and the thimble like ones twist around too much to get a good brush. I’ve also had 1 too many accidental bites from his previous brush that I needed another way. This has been amazing! The handle part helps keeping it in place on my finger, and the size keeps it from slipping into my dog’s â€inside†mouth (so he never gets to chomp down on it). Also soft bristles so I’m not too worried about scraping his gums, still brushing with a soft hand of course. I will add that my dog is normally very gentle and is desensitized to me grabbing mouth/jaw/head.

The silicone toothbrush is super easy to use and clean. The long finger handle gives you a lot of control while brushing your pets teeth. Like that is soft, pliable, and has plenty of bristles to go over the teeth. My dog liked it much better than the thimble finger brush. I highly recommend this product. It's well made and packaged nicely. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are very easy to use & protect my finger from an unintended bite, but the silicone bristles are too soft to really effectively clean my large dogs’ teeth. Great for gum massaging.

I appreciate that these are different colors (for different uses), and that they have the holes to hang them. I use one as a toothbrush for my pit bull, and it's perfect for him! He doesn't like the bristles of a traditional toothbrush; I think this material and texture are actually soothing on his teeth and gums. He gently bites down on my covered finger, I think because the texture is soothing. For a doggy who has never enjoyed getting his teeth brushed, this product is working really well! I can also get to each individual tooth better, since I'm using a covered finger. I feel like I'm cleaning the whole tooth. I also use a different color to gently brush and clean his paws, and another to "brush" his face, and again, he tolerates it very well. FYI I clean the product with my fingers and warm, soapy water because it's so textured.

These are so much easier than using a traditional dog toothbrush with bristles. I can really get around each tooth well and he doesn’t seem to mind. He hated the previous bristle one and would always fight me for brushing. I imagine it’s because these are silicone and much softer. Also very easy to clean, again probably because they are silicone.

They do easily stay on your finger so there is not worry of the dog chocking. My dog is a rescue and I don't think she has ever had her teeth brushed. She is pretty tolerant of all the grooming I have trained her to hold still for but it's going to take some patience to get her use to this. The brush does seen to work well and if her teeth aren't cleaner at least I stimulated the gums.

I've only recently learnt how important it is to keep your dog's teeth clean. I usually give him treats to keep his dental hygiene up, but he's 3 now and they're starting to discolour slightly so I regret not brushing them sooner!Pros:• Easy to use• Soft silicone design• Durable (my boy tries to chew it)• Easy to cleanCons:• NoneI got some standard dog toothpaste that I trusted the branding of and slowly got my dog used to me approaching his mouth more as he'd never had me brush against his gums before! I use a command when doing it so he knows what to expect, and after a few times he'd let me do it.The silicone teeth are soft and rubbing them on your skin feels nice, so it's great to massage into their gums and I found he actually quite liked this. Doing his front teeth is a bit more difficult but the fact that you just put your finger in these and the material is so flexible you can bend your fingers however you need to and change your angles, they're ideal. They aren't heavy duty but obviously you don't want to damage any enamel anyway and dogs don't need to have their teeth brushed like ours as our diets are terrible! I wouldn't, however, use tooth brushing as the only way of keeping a dog's mouth healthy.. Chews are important (safe ones) to keep their teeth clean and can be relaxing for them too.Overall, this is one of this products that should be in every dog owner's cupboard. Especially for dogs that don't like normal toothbrushes, and smaller critters like puppies and cats, I think these are a very gentle introduction to it and probably enough to ensure they get benefits from toothpaste. A good product for us so far.

Best design I have seen for a dog’s toothbrush. I am not a fan of using regular toothbrushes in case I hurt my dog with a bristle into the gum, so silicone is much friendlier. I did try a different finger one a while back but it had no handle so there was a danger of it being pulled off my finger and swallowed. These ones solve that issue, they are gum friendly and won’t hurt and they have handles that I can grip at the same time as using so my dog won’t swallow it.To get my dog back into the way of having his teeth brushed I am using it without toothpaste before introducing it after a few brushes. The combination of thick and thin bristles are good and help get stubborn areas clean. The toothbrushes come in a handy storage box, separate storage for each one would have been handier though, but I can work that out. Really good price for 4.

I actually got these for my cat after the vet said she had tartar and I needed to start brushing her teeth. The brushes can be used in two ways 1) using the long handle to reach the back 2) inserting your finger and using to gently brush your pets teeth. In truth I was too frightened to try this on my cat as as I'm pretty sure she would rip me to shreds. I am going to try but I have to choose my moment when she's in a good mood. For the dog it was much easier. Silicone is much softer than a regular toothbrush and more mallable. This means it shapes better to your dog's mouth and doesn't hurt.. I think it was really impressive having silicone instead of bristles as it covers a larger area too.You need to make sure you get a good toothpaste with a flavour your pet really likes so they look forward to teeth brushing. The dog was happy to have his teeth brushed using these but the cat fought back and wouldn't open her mouth. ( I'm not going to give up though as it's so important). My teeth are a very serious problem in cats and dogs so I'm going to to really persevere with cat, I think I'm going to have to get her used to the chicken toothpaste as a treat first.

These are very good quality and easy to use. My doggie has always had his teeth cleaned at the vets, but as this requires sedation and he is now almost 15 years old, I have decided not to have it done again as I don’t think sedation at his age now is a good thing. These are perfect for gently giving his teeth a little clean. It fits easily over your index finger and the ridged and bristle section is soft enough not to cause discomfort but will still gently clean the teeth. My boy wasn’t too fussed at first but he’s gradually getting used to the toothbrush and will now happily sit and allow me to use it. It washes well in just warm soapy water, with a good rinse under clean running water afterwards. There are four in the pack and they come with a handy container.I would recommend.I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine programme. My review is independent and unbiased, based only on my personal experience of the product.

I’ve been advised by the vet to start brushing my dogs teeth more as she is now 8 and showing signing of tartar. Her breath is quite smelling so we had started using the powder that you sprinkle on the dogs food but this has only helped a little. As she has had a very adverse reaction to a general anaesthetic in the past I want to avoid a full dental so decided to try these. We have tried to brush her teeth before and she wasn’t having any of it but this time she seems to tolerate it a little more but she has a very small mouth and it can be difficult to get right in there to clean at times! But these are great value and colour coded so you can use on different dogs too! Easy to clean-I pop in the dishwasher after a little scrub with hot water.
